Oven's Request (Iihiko vs Koichi)

While Koichi's ability would probably work on Ihiko, I don't see how he could put him down permenantly or incap.

He can use it force surrender with Echoes act 1, but Iihiko may try to kill him before he fully gives in. Echoes is remarkably similar to a style lol

So, at the very least Echoes should be able to put sounds within Iihiko without getting stomped to the ground the moment he gets close. I'll see how the debate goes before voting.

We should probably keep it 8-B but given that this is a hax fight I don't think it matters.

I think Koichi's ability would really annoy Ihiko. It would make him want to end the fight very quickly. I don't think this would be to Koichi's advantage though as Ihiko has proven himself a ridiculously versatile fighter. Ihiko would likely 1 shot by landing anything (throwing a rock, shooting an elastic band) and I don't see Koichi surviving long enough for echoes to piss Ihiko off enough for him to give up.

Act 3 can deal with any projectiles. And Koichi isn't willing to kill normally, but here he can project a kaboom onto Iihiko's head and make him explode.

He would need to make him read the explosion Kanji for it to effect him, so that wouldn't work. However, if he told Iihiko the pun for Three Freeze then that could work on him tho

He would need Iihiko to look at it to begin with and if Iihiko isn't gonna be looking at it unless he feels something from it, then he would have to be looking at it from the start

I could have sworn act 3 didn't have access to that power. Either that or he doesn't use it with access to act3 because it's redundant. I'm not to sure.

Act 3 is just incredibly powerful, and unless the enemy hard counters it, it is usually an OHKO. He just doesn't really need to use the others unless they have a counter, or he needs greater range

Does act 3 have any feats of using Kanji though? I could have sworn he loses the previous powers when his stand evoles.

He can shift between acts, like he did against Giorno. He also shifts back to Act 1 while searching for Kira after he unlocked Act 2 against Yukako. Three Freeze is based on a pun in japanese, but not the literal kanji like the other versions.

Interesting. I should have paid more attention during part 4. While Kanji may force recognition doesn't the fact that he has to read them make it sort of redundant?

Act 1's ability is just to make sounds that reverberate forever though. This would piss Ihiko off but I doubt it would force him to surrender.

The pain can get pretty serious apparently. Depending on what thoughts he puts into the words, they can also force the person effected to bend to their effects.

Isn't Koichi kind of like a really weak Style user? While styles worked on Ihiko they weren't able to put him down right?

Thye were definitely capable of it, but Iihiko is skilled and lucky enough to not get taken down, and he ended up defeating himself

Not really. He can be powerful if he ever wanted to, but he's non-violent. Act 2 itself is pretty powerful. It can project a "squish" or a "kaboom" onto any part of Iihiko's body, and if he looks at it, the associated effect will happen (crushing/exploding).

This is only for Iihiko. If its literally anyone else, they'll simply get crushed/explode.

That is true. So do you think Koichi will set an effect on his enemy first (it is in character of course, since he used sizzle on SHA) or will Iihiko get a hit on him?

I think we should bloodlust Koichi here because his nature means he isn't going to go for something lethal of the bat and he absolutely needs to against Ihiko.

@Ovens

Should we bloodlust Koichi? You are the one who wanted this match
I was thinking about it. But I was leaning more towards prior knowledge than bloodlust.
