Regen for Toad, I guess

It's probably canon? I mean, it was published by Nintendo and nothing suggests it isn't canon to my knowledge.

So the additions seem fair

it's canon so there are no worries there. and besides getting squished by bowser has actually occurred a couple of times in Mario party. Mario Party 5 in which toad as a playable character could be squished by bowser via landing on his space.

If this is accepted this would actually apply to most of the main cast as well since they can all quickly recover from being crushed flat by Bowser in the console party games.

I think that's a different thing altogether, in the most canon games Mario and Luigi always die by this. Using Kirby as an example everyone there who got this has it coming from a game in the main canon, with multiple instances in games before that of Kirby doing the same. And also just showing a better toon force in general.

We don't really have rules on the matter but that's just by opinion on it.

Mario and Luigi have feats of this in scenarios where they don't die, such as Whomps and Thwomps crushing them in Super Mario 64 (DS). There's also an ability in Partners in Time entirely based around the Bros crushing each other with hammers, and they casually withstand it and come back from it.

One thing; the main reason why Banjo's mid-regen was accepted (for being crushed flat) was because it happened in a cutscene. It happens in a cutscene here as well for toad, but I'm not sure this is something we can give to every playable mario character that has been squashed before.

I'm fine with Mario and Luigi getting mid-regen however

Bayonetta was it via gameplay, I can hardly see something there that can't happen to a character.

Also, as this is about other characters too I wanna to propose the following division for the P&A part, using Mario as an example:

<tabber>By himself= Superhuman Physical Characteristics, Self-Sustenance (Type 1), Acausality (Type 1), Shares a telepathic bond with Luigi, Can occasionally hurt ghosts, Can flip between dimensions, Hammerspace, Versatility, Enhanced Jumping Skills, Fourth Wall Awareness, Vehicular Mastery, Fire Manipulation, Skilled Hammer Wielder, Energy Manipulation, Energy Projection, Resistance to Gravity Manipulation (Has adjusted his gravity to walk normally on hundreds of different sized planets and has been near black holes), Black Holes, Void Manipulation, and Petrification

|-|Optional Equipment= As before, Forcefield Creation, Intangibility, Afterimage Creation, Attack Reflection, Air Manipulation, Sleep Manipulation, Summoning, Time Travel, Telekinesis, Resurrection (Via 1-Up Glove), OHK (Showstopper), Damage Nullification with Guard Shell DX or Battle Cards, Water Manipulation with F.L.U.D.D., Possession (Via Cappy), Portal Creation (Via Magic Window), Time Manipulation (Via Battle Cards, Stop Watch, or Zone Speed), Sealing (Via Catch Cards), Weather Manipulation, Mind Control, Empathic Manipulation & Reality Warping (Via Music Keys), Can grow the user in size (Super Mushroom), The Fire Flower gives Mario Pyrokinesis, The Mega Mushroom grows the user to gigantic proportions, The Starman grants the user Near Invincibility, The Ice Flower grants Cyrokinesis, The Cape Feather (And several other power-ups) grants him Flight, Transmutation and BFR (Up and Away), Animal Manipulation, Size Manipulation, Intangibility, Invisibility, Statistics Amplification, Power Nullification, Metal Manipulation, Earth Manipulation, Cloud Manipulation, Duplication, Electricity Manipulation, Self-Sustenance (Type 3) and Healing with Pure Hearts, Resistance to Elemental Manipulation, Fear Manipulation, Transmutation, Poison Manipulation, Sleep Manipulation, Instant Death Attacks, Time Manipulation, Statistics Reduction and Power Nullification with the Super Suit or Feeling Fine badge

</tabber>

It was consistent with another character getting shot in the head, which iirc didn't even scale to her as it wasn brought up before and it's not in her profile now.

A good handful of those abilities proposed in the second key could also apply to the first key, too. Like, Mario doesn't require the Music Keys to use the abilities demonstrated in Dance Dance Revolution, he only needs to dance. The Music Keys only increases the potency. I don't know if this place views the Kodansha manga and the original anime adaptation of the Super Mario Bros as non-canon, but Mario can grow in size and use the abilities of the Metal Cap, the Vanish Cap, and the Wing Cap through transforming into then through sheer will. It's stated in the Mario Encyclopaedia that Mario turns enemies into coins with his fire, and Mario in Mario Party 2 can turn Bowser into a frog with his magic. I can provide scans for anything needed if no one recalls anything I'm referencing.

You can quote and modify my comment as you think it should be, Dino would likely handle that tho. About turning enemies into coins, if it's not via a power-up that let him do that I don't think it would be a legit power, Kirby had something similar rejected (an statement of him rolling into enemies and turn them into stars).

Agree with Eficiente's proposals (though I do think the Music Keys should go under the "By Himself tab" if they're done through Mario's own abilities).

"Versatility" as a power he has should be gone, it probably means "has a lot of power-ups and can use all of them in combat", which he now can't.

It is with a power-up, he just learned to do it without using a power-up in Superstar Saga.

Not to undermine Dino Ranger Black or anything, but are the rest of everyone here just not sufficient enough to make judgement about topics regarding Mario? I feel I've demonstrated time and again that I'm knowledgeable about Mario, and I already said that if evidence is needed, you can ask me for it. Like, if I have evidence, then why would we need further outside influence to make a decision?

Because we need knpwledgeable staff members to evaluate your arguments, before we apply changes. That is our standard practice to avoid constant unreliable revisions.

So you're saying I need a staff member who is knowledgeable about scaling to confirm the arguments are accurate, or are you saying we need a staff member who is knowledgeable on Mario to confirm the information exists? The latter seems unnecessary when those of us are here who can provide evidence that it exists and are also knowledgeable about Mario, so if it's the former, I can understand that.

Has anybody asked Dino yet?
Dark did on another thread I believe.

As for Mario having two keys, I agree but may be better discussing it on another thread. Also, Mario has resisted sleep manip in base (Dreambeats)

@Ant I called Dino too.

@Hadou I would need more context, can you show the statement?

@Gyro He's not having 2 keys, just a separation of what you can or can't do in his P&A part to not confuse others.

Mario has a wall of text as his P&A, it'd look much nicer if we seperate it into two tabbers

Yeah, if you reform your body from being flattened and if it's not game mechanics

Very well, we can included this ability for Toad then. I think Mario and Luigi can have this as well since I recall in Partners in Time, there's a move called "Baby Cakes", where they can be flatten like pancakes as babies by their older selves. Peach as well since the Toadworths used it on her baby counterpart first, which is a cutscene, so it's not a game mechanic.

Since they would also gain toon force next to this regen, if they have some other notable stuff they can do via toon force it would be good to mention it.

@Niarobi

I mean that we need staff members to evaluate and accept the arguments, preferably ones that are knowledgeable about each franchise.

@Dino

Thanks. I suppose that this can be applied then.

I included it for Toad. I'll also include it for the Bros and the princess once we have settled with the other threads that also involves them.

@Dino

Okay. You can tell me if you need any profile pages unlocked.
