I would argue with how much flack the idea of feminism gets nowadays, this type of attitude is a lot less prevalent than people make it out be.

Movie's out in my country atm. While I haven't seen it, I've chatted with those who have, and apparently Captain Marvel has a couple of decent old feats. Nothing too impressive though

Well we can as well say Mister Satan fuelled Goku up on defeating Kid Buu. He even managed to fool and "win" Buu in an one-on-one situation.Crimson Azoth said:

I'm actually curious if Captain Marvel will be compared to or even shown to surpass Thor in the MCU. It feels like the producers really want to push the "Captain Marvel is the strongest Marvel character" narrative even though it was previously established that Thor was the strongest Marvel character.
Like there was even an entire arc dedicated to how powerful Thor was in Infinity War and his presence alone turned the tide of an entire war.

I will say this for now. We shouldn't rate her at 7-A or 6-B without feats or scaling. If she doesn't do anything of that tier then we need to wait for Endgame to come out for more stuff.

Sorta off topic but I think with this movie (and GotG/Ragnarok) the MCU seems to have no real FTL space ships. They all rely on wormholes to get anywhere. The only exceptions seem to be Thanos' ships, the Bifrost, and the Space Stone.

There are several explosions throught the film, but nothing worth noticing I think.
She did destroy some spaceships on her own by the end of the film, however.
Also her flight speed's obviously MFTL+. Her attacks are also described as "photonic blasts", so lol whaat.

Ngl I don't think any MCU movie really goes above an 8. Most of them are fun, but they're just average or above average. They also start to bleed together after awhile, at least from my experience with them. Now there are exceptions of course, but I'd place the majority in the 6~/10 range (or slightly above average).

They should with that name, but its rare for fictional energy blasts to replicate such speeds.

I don't think protons by definition move at lightspeed, but I'll have to check that
