Twenty-fourth round of the High 8-C Brackets Begins! The winner of the last round was the Chelsea.

Current Standings (A "-1" indicates the fighter was disqualified or was stomped)

The contenders for this round are Gash Bell and Kiyomaru Takamine, submitted by Litentric Teon, and Kafuru, submitted by Arrogant Schmuck.

BoS G&K is used, Speed is equalized. Battle takes place on these plains, 20m away.

Gash & Kiyomaru have a 4.3 Ton feat, Kafuru scales to 3.8 Tons.

It's strange.

So, I remember that when Gash fought Patty, they made a thing about how electricity is weak to water, but I don't think that's actually true. (Gash's fight against Patty was also in the second arc, not the first). So I'm a bit unsure on how to handle it here.
 
Ok so here's a video of Kafuru gameplay. You can see how her teleportation works by me attempting to use it several times such as right here. It's been around a year since I played so I couldn't for the life of me figure out how to get her to actually move with the teleportation, but from that you can get a general idea of how it works. You can also watch the rest of it to get a general idea of how she fights.

I think Bari vs Gash does a good idea to show what the duo can do, minus showing off Jikerudo since there wasn't any metal in the area. Or Rauzaraku since they didn't obtain that spell yet.

Unforunately, I'm very busy and actually have an exam today, so I'll be on and off and the morning, and once I disappear, I likely won't be on for several hours.
 
Bari vs Gash

It's more so to give an idea of their fighting style since they got a good deal stronger since this, and their Zakeru feat placing them at High 8-C is also from before this battle.
 
Well once again the first thing SK characters do is throw up a Shinobi Barrier which you can see being done here signified by the background/stage changing.

If you look through that playlist you'll see that that switching of locations happens before nearly every level begins.

Btw in that video it's Kafuru herself putting up the barrier, and the location it gets switched to is noticeably devoid of metal.
 
I mean, imo, Jikerudo is their best spell BoS. And the only reason it's scarcely used aside from them being able to bully everyone in it, is because half the time they fight in areas without metal.

Also, I'll have to get to this later. I'm still immensely busy, apologies.

Yeah, lol. I've also been super busy recently. Apologies. Once I have time I'll watch what Arrogant has posted and make an argument.
 
What would you say if I told you Han might not be full-on High 8-C anymore?


Pretty sure he could still stay, since the last thing he went through relied on his barriers blocking the attacks, and the barriers also stay High 8-C. But his arrows and physical dura would backscale to 8-C for being and eight of the mana bomb.
 
A wait until someone gives reasonings to vote.

After that it'll turn into blind FRAs until a mainstream character comes around.
 
I mean, the spell in question is Zakeruga, who is stronger than Zakeru and have percing damage, just think of why a 9-C gun can damage a Shark who is 9-B
 
I mean, i was not the one who make the profiles, i just read and interpret them. Zakeruga have no other form of dura negation other than the perfuration of things
 
Since Kafuru can teleport she should be able to successfully launch attacks at Kiyomaru, who seems like less of a fighter than Gash.

If Kiyomaru is dead, incapacitated or currently knocked away, having to get up again and having to pick up book, the spells can not be used anymore, right?

If Kafuru capitalizes on keeping Kiyomaru busy in order to fight Gash not at full power I can see her winning.
