Let's see...

Ammy has shields that protect her and her abilities arguably stop time, allowing her to get hits in on Chakravartin, more easily. She could literally do attacks in the middle of Chakra preforming his own. Her shields also mean that she won't even take damage until he gets through what...4 of them? She's also got a variety of different attack methods that, combined with her time-stopping, will really catch Chakra by surprise.

On Chakra's side, he's a crazy good HtH/CQC fighter and can stop time as well, though he doesn't do that nearly as frequently as Ammy. He also does have some variety with his attack methods: giant energy spheres, spears and shockwaves.

Based on this, I have to ask two all important questions:

1. Should we treat Ammy's reliance on ink as a game mechainic or not?

2. Whose got the AP/Dura advantage? I lean towards Chakravartin based on his feats and scaling but my knowledge of Okami is limited, so I need a little more imput.
 
Amaterasu also has ressurection and will automatically revive after dying up to four times, and revives at full health.

Not sure about the Ink but Amaterasu has an item called an Inkfinity stone that grants Infinite ink temporarily, she also has the Golden Ink pot which triples her Ink regen speed.

As for scaling I don't know about Chakravartin but Aamaterasu is >= Yami who is > her son Chibiterasu, who beat Akuro, who made a Realm full of stars, and Akuro is just the largest fraction of Yami, when he split into five after defeat.

Also the Power Slash technique can reflect projectiles back at the opponent.
 
Chakravartin at this point is the second strongest character in Asura's Wrath. The scaling would probably go like this:

Asura 'Unlimited Form' (Fought on par with Charkvartin and eventually overcame him after an intense fight) >= Creator Chakravarti (Oneshotted Destructor Asura back to Base with one energy blast after stopping his punch with a finger)>> Destructor Asura (Fought on par with Base Chakravartin and defeated him.) >= Base Chakravarti (Can fight Destructor Asura evenly for the most part)>> Golden Chakravartin (Was pulling parts of the Milky Way Galaxy from the center. Oneshotted by Desturctor Asura.)
 
Well Amaterasu survived this before she gained her full power form back, and it was during a solar eclipse where she was possibly weakened.
 
Im not sure Chakra seems to prefer HtH/CQC fighting, Ammy i'm not sure but the time stop happens everytime she activtes her brush though.
 
Ok, if that's true, then I can see Amaterasu winning via using the brush a lot to avoid a lot of his attacks and keeping a distance while attacking.
 
What do we think about the 108 Beads thing?

Because Ammy can obtain all of them in one playthrough. She gets the last by beating the game, but she still exists after that point, she just goes back to the celestial plane or wherever.
 
@Monarch do you mean the String of beads which gives her infinite health and Ink and a 10x boost? I'm not sure actually how that would work.
