Continued from here.

Essentially. there have been numerous Speed Calculations regarding Marvel Heroes, and it has been decided that the speed values of a number of character profiles need to be changed accordingly. The problem comes with who should scale to what calculation exactly, and who shouldn't.

Here are all the calculations and their results:

https://vsbattles.fandom.com/wiki/U...r_Marvel_speed_feat_requested_by_you-know-who (0.05c)

https://vsbattles.fandom.com/wiki/U...om_hitting_the_moon_and_travels_back_to_earth (0.065c)

https://vsbattles.fandom.com/wiki/U...level"_superheroes_Massively_Hypersonic+_feat (Mach 2931.76408, the other two are outliers / inaccurate. Personally I'm fine with the third as it is a basic reaction feat)

https://vsbattles.fandom.com/wiki/User_blog:Huesito88/Spiderman_saving_Norman_Osbor (Likely inaccurate, just a matter of speech.)

https://vsbattles.fandom.com/wiki/User_blog:Huesito88/Spiderman_Microseconds_agai Spider-Man Microsecond Calc 2 (Mach 5797 or so.)

https://vsbattles.fandom.com/wiki/User_blog:Huesito88/Silk_Dodges_a_lightning_bolt (Mach 9008.9 or so)

https://vsbattles.fandom.com/wiki/User_blog:Darkanine/Marvel:_Iron_Fist_reacts_at_a_microsecond (Mach 3,388)

https://vsbattles.fandom.com/wiki/User_blog:Kepekley23/The_Amazing_Spider_Man:_Electro_calc (Mach 492.762)

https://vsbattles.fandom.com/wiki/User_blog:Spinosaurus75DinosaurFan/Some_Electro_feats (Mach 1076.493)

https://vsbattles.fandom.com/wiki/User_blog:Huesito88/Daredevil_dodging_Lightning_in_a_split_second (Mach 7748.26, probably high-end).

These are feats performed by Fing Fang Foom, Rogue, Spider-Man, Daredevil, Captain America, Silk, Ghost Rider and Iron Fist. And they would scale to a number of characters.

There's also a ton of Electro-dodging feats I compiled that weren't calculated, so if anything this list of MHS to Sub-Relativistic feats would be far larger.

Should we ask Sandman31 (and maybe Quantu) for help with evaluating this?

@Matthew

Are you willing to leave messages on their walls about this thread?

What about Hulk? Are we retaining or removing his MFTL+ rating?

Matthew Schroeder said:
I don't think the Hulk is MFTL+, no.
So him tagging Surfer and keeping up with Thor, Sentry and Hyperion are considered as outliers?

He never kept up with Sentry other than as World War Hulk, and I don't reccal him fighting Hyperion.

Surfer and Thor just job a lot.

Hulk's best speed feats on his own are those two I just posted. Even ignoring their ridiculously MFTL+ Flight, Thor and Surfer do have FTL and FTL+ "Combat Speed" feats of their own.

He is still supposed to be "unworthy" of lifting the now destroyed Mjolnir though. He just gets a new hammer.

@Matthew

Hulk fought Hyperion in Hickman's Avengers run and gave him some trouble. Although that version of Hyperion doesn't have the nanosecond feats the other version has afaik.

Same I think he has to many consistent showings of reacting to MFTL+ characters to ignore
There are also many showings of street level or MHS characters keeping up with him. Either we can treat their feats as outliers or treat Hulk's feats as outliers, I don't have a particular opinion on that tbh.

Here is what Sandman31 wrote as a draft, after going through all of the profiles, based on our current (flawed) scaling:

  • Captain America (Scaling from Daredevil, Spider-Man and Iron Fist)
  • Black Widow (Scaling from both Hawkeye and Daredevil)
  • Blade (Scaling from Hawkeye and Captain America)
  • Wolverine (Scaling from Daredevil and Captain America)
  • Deadpool (Scaling from Captain America)
  • Black Panther (Scaling from Captain America)
  • Punisher (Scaling from Daredevil and Elektra)
  • Elektra (Scaling from Daredevil)
  • X-23 (Scaling from Wolverine)
  • Hawkeye (Scales from Daredevil and Captain America)
  • Luke Cage (Scaling from Hawkeye
  • Beast (Scaling from Daredevil and Captain America)
  • Shadowcat (Scaling from Hawkeye)
  • Jubilee (Scaling from Captain America)
  • Shang Chi (Comparable to Hawkeye, Daredevil, and Iron Fist)
  • Moonknight (Comparable to Daredevil)
  • Helmut Zemo (Comparable to Hawkeye and Captain America)
  • Winter Soldier (Comparable to Hawkeye and Captain America)
  • Nightcrawler (Comparable to Hawkeye)
  • Archangel (Scales from Hawkeye and Wolverine)
  • Taskmaster (Comparable to Captain America)
  • Daken Akihiro (Scaling from X-23 and Wolverine)
  • Kingpin (Scaling from the Punisher)
  • Sabretooth (Scaling from Wolverine)
  • Bullseye (Scaling from Daredevil)
  • Karnak (Swifter than Black Panther and Captain America.)
  • Batroc the Leaper (Scaling from Daredevil)
  • Gambit (Comparable to Daredevil)
  • Storm (Scaling from Daredevil and Hawkeye)
  • Magik (Should be comparable to Hawkeye and Daredevil)
  • Crossbones (Comparable to Daredevil)
  • Red Skull (Comparable to Crossbones)
  • Omega Red (Kept up with Daredevil and grabbed Rogue before she could react)
  • Psylocke (She can keep up with Wolverine and Sabretooth)
  • Silver Samurai (Comparable to Daredevil)
  • Cable (Swifter than the Black Panther)
  • Dreadpool (Comparable to Deadpool)
  • Ronan the Accuser (Scaling from Black Panther)
  • Starlord (Should be comparable to Hawkeye)
  • Cyclops (Comparable to Hawkeye)

Thor has MFTL+ combat speed feats of his own and so does Gladiator (who Thor has fought more than once).

And according to the Marvel wiki Hulk has jumped to Mars orbit before.

I would also appreciate if we could get this revision done. Perhaps you could remind Matthew and Sandman31 via their message walls?

I'll ask them, Looks like this is gonna take a long time, maybe until winter.

I'm going to be inactive during the summer holidays btw, because I'm going to study in USA and I'll be inactive or even completely absent, so I won't be able to help out on this or any revision including Assaltwaffle's.

Okay. That is too bad, but good luck with your studies.

Okay. I will ask Matthew to help out here.

Okay. Thank you. Feel free to prepare a list of which characters that should scale to what.

You and Sandman31 can also make suggestion lists for which charactes that should scale to what.
