Kirby characters upgrades

I noticed that a good number of Kirby characters (not just Kirby himself) suffer from having incomplete/forgotten profiles. That must be changed. First of all, about speed. From some debates I've read, it seems the Kirby verse is known for having decent speed feats. So why do many of them have "only FTL" in the speed category, while there's many feats contradicting that :

-In his fight against Dark Crafter, Kirby flies past countless solar systems in seconds.

-Everybody knows about the MFTL+ Lor Starcutter right ? Landia kept up with it. The Kirby crew kept up with Landia (when it was boosted by the Master Crown no less), and Lor Starcutter. This game was literally an MFTL+ party for all the characters.

-Kirby also outpaced Marx who is MFTL+ as well.

-There's an error in Kirby's profile btw. When he flies from a random point in space to the center of a far away galaxy he takes seconds, not minutes.

Next is power. Why is most of the cast 5-B ? Even Kirby's lousiest feat, which is destroying Pop Star in 1 punch, is 5-A, considering that Pop Star's atmosphere alone is so large it has several flying continents and even a small planet in the stratosphere that the creators of the game even talked about.

But let's talk about the real deal feat : Kirby beating Claycia who created all of Seventopia. If you think Seventopia is only 7 planets, you're mistaken. Those 7 planets were created only after Dark Crafter possessed her. Before the events of the game, her description states she already had created Seventopia. So, how big it is ? During the final battle, we see it's clearly composed of a cluster of solar systems. Yet, Kirby stomped her without using his abilities (he just charged at her physically) while holding back, as he obviously feared killing her. That's solid 4-A tier. Minutes later, he also kills a stronger being.

EDIT : Not the most accurate calculation in the world, but please check this out.

Soooo yeah... Kirby and most of the other top tiers (Meta Knight and his 2 clones (Galacta and Dark), as well as the big badies who fought evenly with Kirby) should be scaled to his MFTL+ multi-solar system feats. Some pages also need other work, the "Powers & Abilities" section does nothing to describe Kirby's hax, same goes for other characters. Their profiles really need revisions and updates.

I will highlight this thread for more input.

...Seems legit to me honestly. I see nothing wrong with the feats themselves as Kirby has always been ridiculously OP but it would be nice to post some links to the stated feats as evidence.

The links were in the post...

I feel as though using the speed from scaling to Magolor but not the actual power is not acceptable as we are using one feat from a scene but not the other. Either it's all legit or none of it is.

I also do not see there being multiple solar systems anywhere in the images, just jumping between planets. If anything, it's just planetary systems due to the lack of stars.

Yo, Fastsword! Good to see you here!

I was wondering why your calcs weren't on the pages...

Yeah, this all seems pretty legitimate. It would also help bridge the gap between Kirby and Magolor, making it seem like less and less of an outlier.

I believe there was a star there

And even without that, it would still make Kirby (And everyone that scales to him) multi-planet level.

Yeah, we don't necessarily have to scale the Kirby crew to Magolor, but I meant it's safer to scale them just to Lor Starcutter, who is MFTL+ too. And there are the other good speed feats too.

I didn't just mean the systems that are in the close background, but also the hundred blue bright stars in the far background too. They are also visible in other images like this and this. (Side note : This is not important, but via mass-energy formulas, creating several planets alone is already on stellar tier).

Might as well chip in. I calculated the warp star feat's true value near the very bottom of the 2nd page

No offense to Fast or the other people who asked me to calc the feats, was comedically exaggerating my frustration because I kinda wasted over an hour of my time calculating something that got thrown out immediately afterwards. lol

If only you were there for the black hole blogs drama with Regi and Zihawk and the like Fastsword, was hilarious

I have no issues with the speed and planet level feats and beyond. Not to sure about powerscaling other Kirby characters and villian to Kirby himself should he recieve any upgrade in his stats though since Kirby constantly beats them and it's hard to believe characters after...let's say Magalor are just as strong as him.

@Xolon : Absolutely not That's why I made sure to put this link where one of the creators of the Kirby games explain very well that the stars and planets they put in Kirby's world aren't randomly done, but are done for legit purposes. He even further explains that stars were always an important and focused part in the Kirby verse. He also says that the 100s of solar gems you collect in the game were actually stars transformed into gems to stop light from reaching Floralia (by the main villain of course). Read the page for all info. I hope you understand french btw.

@CGG : Oh hey bro. Glad to see you here. I heard you're soon gonna abandon debating stuff. Sad to hear, but I hope you'll stick around for random talking and laughs, like with the black hole dramas (whatever they are).

@Fastsword Huh you heard. Yeah I still have a few more calcs planned since I have quite a few unfinished drafts and plenty more calc requests planned since I owe some people them not to mention it's the least I could do to pay them back for favours. I intend on publishing a blog here and on the OBD when I get them all done explaining everything. Glad to see you here too, you publish anything new on DA lately?

@CGG : Well, I've been busy with school work so I rarely publish anything nowadays, but I'm still active from time to time. Btw, you'll still continue doing FFs right ?

I see, know what that's like. As for me, I've mainly moved on from FF to focus on PC recently (I'm rarely in contact with RW or GH these days which makes things difficult)

Working as a storyboard artist, editor, researcher, and graphic designer (made KD's avatar, even) for it, Thanos VS Darkseid has unfortunately been under numerous delays but we hope to have it out by Christmas time.

Thanos voiced by Jon Bailey (Honest Trailers)

Darkseid voiced by Greg Houser (Funimation)

Neil Kaplan is the announcer (Optimus Prime, Tobi, Yamamoto)

Going to be fun, hope you tune in for that

Hmm. I didn't know that you were that well-connected. You seem to have assembled a lot of good talents.

Anyway, I have no knowledge about Kirby, and am generally tired and unfocused nowadays, so I am leaving any upgrades to be evaluated by the other admins.

I'm looking forward the 1st episode of your newest show, CGG ! Claps to your partner KaijuD as well ! Good luck in all of your future projects !

"Ironically, the in-game Megaton Punch is much stronger than Kirby's planet bust in the manga"

Weird.

Anyways, good, seems like the majority now accepts the new 4-A and MFTL+ stats for the top tiers in Kirby, but it appears the main Kirby page is locked. Could an admin unlock it, if possible ?

I'm with Everlasting on the speed feat. It all ties back to Magolor in some way, and we agreed that Kirby beating Magolor was a massive outlier. Kirby's best speed feat to my knowledge is keeping up with Meta Knight, who is FTL.

I would have objected to the feat of cracking Pop Star, but ClassicGameGuys' calc has established it as a legitimate Large Planet level feat. I'll say this regarding the floating islands on the Dreamstalk, though; there's a lesson to be learned from Fairy Tail, and it's that islands are not islands, continents are not continents, and defeating a Small Mountain level god of war is a Town level feat. Also, I couldn't find anything on that Miiverse post that said that Pop Star's atmosphere has other planets in it.

I haven't played Rainbow Curse, and don't intend to, so I can't say anything about Claycia and Seventopia.

I say Kirby and co. should be put back at 5-A, but I'm hesitant to say they should be upgraded further.

Well, The Everlasting and Unclechairman seem to make sense on that point.
