Zeref's Hax

Resetting time isn't Low 2-C unless you do it to the beginning of the universe or something.

@Everlasting

They are both attacks done by hax which do not equate to AP. Zeref is High Universal via that one attack so it should be noted

That's not even... I don't...

Just because two entirely different and unrelated attacks are hax doesn't mean we can assign tiers to both of them.

Reversing time is not a High Universal feat.

As The Everlasting stated, it is nonsensical for Zeref to reset the timeline when he states that he needs his memories of the current timeline in order to fix things in the past, since he mentions becoming a child and human again in order to save Natsu and fix his own mistakes. Heck, he says that on the very next page.

He's just performing Time Travel paradoxes. Nothing less, nothing more.

@Reppuzan

Zeref outright denies he is travelling in time.

Rather he is resetting it, by destroying the current world

That thing is not important to add because it is useless for combat purposes and Zeref was easily dealt with.

Yeah, for all his talk of "resetting the timeline", the practical effects is that he gets to live his life again but keeping his future memories. The timeline is the same as before until he is born and can start changing things with his regular actions, thus "destroying" the present since it'd never happen. You know, like a common time travel story. That's not Universal+ or High Universe level at all, the only thing he achieves is transferring his memories to past Zeref to change the past. This would be like giving Tier 2 to characters who stop time or can freely time travel.

I've seen it mentioned quite a few times that one of the purposes of this site is indexing, so that isn't a reason not to analyse this. And besides there are a ton of characters who have abilities that aren't directly suitable for combat but are noted anyway
