The most notable difference is Yusuke is significantly even more delinquent in the manga than Anime; he smokes, drinks, and gambles. Which became a change for him using Genkai's cigarettes instead of his own in the Anime's Genkai Tournament. The addition of Jorge is another noticeable change in the Anime version. Yusuke's mother is also someone who plays a bigger part in the manga and is more or less just a character whom we never see again post Spirit Detective Arc in the Anime. Backstories also had more details, we sort of see Yusuke's dad in a flashback but we do not know his name. In the Anime, it was reduced to Yusuke's line "My dad's a no show." Mukuro's back story is also darker and more tragic in the original manga; mainly the part about her being a sex slave.
Makai Tournament played out a great deal different in Anime/Manga. There were more friends who lost in the preliminaries, Hiei Vs Mukuro happened before Yusuke Vs Yomi in the Anime but same time in the manga. The Mukuro vs Natsume fight was Anime exclusive as far as we know; then she lost but unknown who to in the manga but she specifically lost to Enki in the Anime.

Kinda seems like the anime just cut certain stuff for possibly pacing and censorship for the most part, shit but im all for nuking the verse. Ngl this also reminded me of a CRT I made that got accepted and seeing the profile along with with my laziness and procrastination I just ended up not doing it, forgetting about it.
