@DMUA and Crab I think it was actually stated that the Marvel Zombies are significantly stronger than their counterparts (Like when spiderman alone killed the entire sinister six) not to mention significantly more experience (even pre zombification it was already ahead of main marvel by a lot) plus the virus seemingly has mutative properites (Teddon webbing and Zombie sense remember?)

Back on topic:

Superman (Red Son) should have Fear, but is like, the only good one.

My attempt at adding a comment turned into me pretty much forming a whole Lantern Corps-based fanon for Overwatch.

Willpower: Zarya, McCree, Mei, Ana, Winsto

Fear: Roadhog, Doomfist, Moira

Rage: Reaper
(Would be Hope pre-betrayal, but would lose it to the Red ring before he attacks Jack)

Greed: Junkrat, Sombra, Ashe

Hope: Reinhardt, Pharah, Tracer, L├║cio, Soldier: 76
(Would've lost it after going vigilante, but is on the track to earning it back)

Compassion: Orisa, Genji, Mercy, Brigitte, Zenyatta

Love: D.Va, Bastio
(The Entity considered Bastion for a future White Lantern, but rejects it since it isn't truly "alive")

Hanzo, Symmetra, and Widowmaker don't have one due to their inner conflicts, though Widow was considered by the Star Sapphires before her brainwashing, and the other two may qualify in the future. Hammond doesn't really lean strongly enough in any emotional direction. Torbjör rejects a power ring, mumbling about "those fancy space-rocks makin' garbage out of nothin'" not being the same as true craftsmanship.

My thoughts of anime characters possibly getting each of the Lantern Rings...

Green Lantern Corp: Izuku "Deku" Midoriya

The reason why I picked Deku from My Hero Academia as part of the Green Lantern Corp is because the kid grew up in a world where Quirk was common and he didn't have any and still wanted to be a hero as this took severe amount of willpower not to give up and crumble. Another reason was that his ability known as One for All ruins his body and it took sheer amount of willpower and determination to master it and able to use it even though it might backfire and might possibly kill himself. Deku also has a very big thing that would get him into the Green Lantern was him able to conquer his fear and even when he once had no quirk he ran into battle to save his childhood bully Bakugo from a slime monster while other Pro Heroes remained to unable to help.

Yellow Lantern Corp: Asura (Soul Eater)

The reason why Asura from Soul Eater was chosen to be in the Yellow Lantern Corp was because the being known as Asura is the embodiment of fear and madness which makes him a perfect fit as his madness causes fear for those who don't want to face him. Also another reason was that he loves fear and causes it while he himself is riddled with it as well causing a two way power of fear for to cause even more damage to those who he fits as the Yellow Lantern feeds of their opponent's fear.

Red Lantern Corp: Guts

The reason why I picked Guts from the anime/manga series known as Berserk was because of his undying rage that was a dominate trait of the man known as Guts. Guts breaths and lives in rage unable to control himself most of the time and would cut anyone down in his path and what helps is that he was a born warrior who fights demons thanks to his traitor friend known as Griffith. Guts however has an armour that allows his mind to descent into madness and rage and won't stop until every blood was spilled from his body and this can be added with the Red Lantern as they are powered by nothing but rage. The Red Lantern Corp also replaced their heart with the Red Lantern Ring making it hard for those to remove it leaving the wielder forever trapped in a cycle of rage.

Orange Lantern Corp: Greed

The reason why Greed from the Fullmetal Alchemist Anime/Manga series was chosen was because the Orange Lantern Corp is built on the deadly sin known as Greed. Since because of this Greed is a perfect fit since he is the embodiment of Greed itself.

Blue Lantern Corp: Naruto Uzumaki

The reason why Naruto Uzumaki was chosen to be the member of the Blue Lantern Corp was because the character is the embodiment of hope as he never gave up on anyone not even Sasuke himself. The other reason was because Naruto was the Chosen One who will bring peace to the Shinobi World as then he gave so many ninjas hope during the Shinobi War Arc. Not only that but he gave hope to those who lost it such as Zabuza, Gaara, Pain, Konan, Sasuke and many others in the process. As such he became Hokage and is the beacon of hope itself.

Violet Lantern Corp: Sailor Moon

The reason why Sailor Moon was chosen to the part of the Violet Lantern Corp was because it holds the power of love and almost of the members are only female. Sailor Moon uses the power of her love to defeat her opponents and is dependent on Mask Tuxedo's love to install her will back.

Indigo Lantern Corp: Acnologia

The reason why Acnologia from the Anime/Manga series known as Fairy Tail is part of the Indigo Lantern Corp is because he lacks compassion. As the Indigo Lantern Corp is mostly comprised of crinimals and horrible villains who lack compassion as shown within Acnologia who kills with no such compassion as he murdered Dragons, and humans alike for his sake of power. Even more obvious was that Acnologia was stated to lack such compassion by many other characters making him such a monstrous beast that even topples over the threat level of Zeref and his empire.

Black Lantern Corp: Aizen Sosuke

The reason why Aizen Sosuke is part of the Black Lantern Corp was because of a few reasons such as he was able to manipulate souls to his advantage thanks to the Hōgyoku changing souls to his advantage and the other reason was because he is a Shinigami where it is a being of death making it more noticeable that he has the properties as a Black Lantern Corp. Though Aizen was picked there were other people in mind such as Zamasu from Dragon Ball Super but a Dragon Ball character was picked, Orochimaru from Naruto but again a Naruto character was already picked, and Zeref from Fairy Tail and like with Zamasu and Orochimaru; Zeref was already picked.

White Lantern Corp: Son Goku

The reason why Son Goku was picked as a White Lantern Corp because Son Goku already knew a lot about life and death and also ascended to a god. Another reason is when in Ultra Instinct he is a perfect candidate for it since he is controlled of his emotions and that the White Lantern Ring is the fusion of all colours making it a perfect fit. Another reason was that Son Goku has so many powerful forms that could handle the White Lantern Ring's power such as Super Saiyan God and such.

Nice. Acnologia being a Indigo Lantern is an interesting concept because Indigo rings force the user to feel compassion. This means Acno would become a good guy while wearing it.

Thanks man! I was wondering what a fate that someone like Acnologia would have to feel compasion on what he did...Note I was thinking about Dio but that would be obvious since I want to try something else with the Indigo Lantern.

I hoped you love the other ideas I had for the other Lantern users?

For my favorite I guess it'll have to be either Fear or Life since he lives with a fear of dying since his exposure to the world and has a strong drive to live to find his worth in the real world.

What ring would go to start of bleach ichigo

Remember at the start ichigo was a different person from when he got all his character development

My guess Ichigo would be the Green Lantern for his willpower

Then later on on he becomes the Blue Lantern for Hope

Then finally at the end of the series he becomes the White Lantern of Life (Ironic given he was fighting the Quincy at the end of the series)

This is for the game characters that might possibly fit for the Lantern Rings:

Green Lantern Corp: Link (Legend of Zelda)

The reason why Link would join the Green Lantern Corp was because he is the embodiment of Willpower as this would also fit with him wielding the Triforce of Courage, as he is the master of his own willpower. The other reason why the hero known as Link would join the Green Lantern was that he had so much willpower to face all of the trials he faced during his many lives as a hero and even faced those foes who prey on Link's fears. As a kid he faced beings that make grown men shiver in fear and he faced much more foes with no fear but only the willpower of a hero.

Yellow Lantern Corp: Dracula (Castlevania)

The reason why Dracula from the game series Cstlevania would join the Yellow Lantern Corp was because of his reputation as the Vampire King while ruling over Wachalla and bring chaos to the world. Another reason because of his Vampiric powers, which was entierly unstoppable as many armies fell to his might as he controlled numerous vampires and forces to his side, and is bringing the destruction of all of mankind. Most of all he has Death as his faithful second command making him the most terrifing being known in the series. Dracula most of all was feared by everyone around him and would be a great fit for the Yellow Lantern Corp.

Red Lantern Corp: Asura (Asura's Wrath)

The reason why Asura from the game known as Asura's Wrath would fit as the Red Lantern Corp was due to his power of utter rage that eclipsed over all of his other mind. He is the embodiment of rage where he got so angry he managed to kill gods and was undefeated and even in death his rage kept him alive and brought him back each time quicker than before. (Ragna the Bloodegde was another choice for this lantern but I felt that Asura has a more fitting role in this Lantern Corp)

Orange Lantern Corp: M. Bison (Street Fighter)

The reason why M. Bison would join the Orange Lantern Corp was that he is a greedy person lusting for more power and he would show no mercy for his lust of such power, as Bison would take no mercy and has no shred of care for what he takes and his greed for world domination.

Blue Lantern Corp: Sonic the Hedgehog

Sonic would join the Blue Lantern Corp due to his embodiment of hope and freedom that kept him going where he continued his path of heroism inspiring those around him with hope to fight back Robotnik/Eggman from his tyranny. Sonic uses his hope to drive a powerful will to never give up and to even make his enemies his allies thanks to hope he spread around him.

Violet Lantern Corp: Princess Peach (Mario)

Princess Peach of Toadstool would fit well as a Violet Lantern due to her power of her love that is connected to what she can do. Peach is also a person controlled by her will of love itself so that way she could connect easily with those who she loves.

Indigo Lantern Corp: Kazuya Mishima (Tekken)

Kazuya Mishima the father of Jin Kazama and son of Heiachi Mishima would join the Indigo Lantern Corp due to him having no utter remorse for his actions and revels into his darkness due to him removing his angel side and with intention of fusing with his demonic side to gain greater power. He is shown to have uncontrollable psychotic intentions of killing his family to gain power and without remorse killing his father by throwing him into a volcano and again multiple times trying to murder his own son.

Black Lantern Corp: Sephiroth (Final Fantasy)

The Black Lantern Corp would welcome Sephiroth from Final Fantasy VII into their group due to his connection to death and darkness. Another reason was that Sephiroth was proficient magic even before his immersion in the Lifestream due to absorbing so much of the knowledge of the Ancients from the Lifestream he no longer needs Materia to use magic. Even after his physical body is destroyed, his will persists. Having gained control over Jenova's cells, he can construct avatars in his likeness, as well as other eldritch entities, enabling him a physical presence in the world of the living much like how the Black Lanterns function. He can remotely control Jenova cells inside living organisms, control the thoughts and actions of those injected with her cells, and in severe cases can outright puppeteer their bodies. Being immersed in the Lifestream has granted Sephiroth psychic powers, allowing him to read others' minds, making him adept at emotional manipulation, preying on his foes' dark emotions thus making him a great fit for the Black Lantern Corp.

White Lantern Corp: Sora (Kingdom Hearts)

Sora from Kingdom Hearts would be welcomed into the White Lantern Corp due to his connection to the light and how he could master it with ease. Sora was known to be a hero of the light connecting himself with the power of the Keyblade and was able to use light itself to combat the darkness where the White Lanterns were made to do.

Dante (Devil May Cry): Surely he'd get Love. Compassion would have been fitting, but since the Compassion ring searches for people with little to no compassion, that would surprisingly be more fit for Vergil. Dante has always cared for others, even when he'd rather not admit it, and a massive point of his character has been his humanity. Love is the closest fit by far.

Sailor Moon: Probably Life. Sailor Moon has always clearly believed in the sanctity of life, even going so far as to attempt saving those who are nigh-beyond redemption. Also, especially in her later depictions, her purity is constantly represented through white colours. Life seems like a good bet for her lantern ring.

Joker (Persona 5): This one is a bit tricky. I'm divided between Willpower and Hope. Willpower is fitting, given his constant determination and unshakeable will. Hope might be more fitting, however, given the objectives of the Phantom Thieves to reform society peacefully into a hopeful world. I'm somewhat leaning more towards Hope, but it's debatable.

Lucina (Fire Emblem): Beyond any doubt, she'd get Willpower. Her defining characteristic is her unshakeable determination towards the world and those she considers friends. Comparatively, none of the other Lantern traits are shown to be clear aspects of her character (except for Hope, arguably).

Crimson Azoth said:
The Puppet (FNaF) - Rage. When you are willing to come back from the dead and live in a smelly, skinny robo-body for years and years, then torture your killer for all eternity in hell itself, you are kinda angry.
Honestly, I think the Puppet would be better as Hope. Henry's daughter gave the other childrens' spirits hope; hope for revenge and hope for escape from their animatronic cages. Plus, I highly doubt they're TOUSHK.

Now, Golden Freddy (Five Nights at Freddy's) on the other hand, if they really are The One You Shouldn't Have Killed, THEY would be rage. Unable to let go of their murder to torture William for all of eternity in UCN, as you said.

This is a pretty cool thread.

Vivec: Love, no brainer here.

Mannimarco: Well he's a necromancer and eventually ascended to become a god of death, so yeah.

Itachi: He would probably be Compassion. Kinda ironic considering he killed his entire clan, but, he's always done everything he can, at least in his eyes, to prevent war and death etc.

He joined the Akatsuki because he knew about Madara and wanted to destroy the organization from the inside, always fought in a way to avoid killing his opponent, which is why he probably became a master genjutsu user and his susanoo is the ultimate defense (Yata Mirror and Totsuka Blade).

He even killed the girl he had a crush on (maybe, at least she did for him) while casting Tsukuyomi on her and letting her live a full and happy life eventually dying of old age in the genjtsu and, in turn, in real life as well. He did everything in his power to protect Sasuke and even sacrificed himself, twice, for him and the good of everyone.

This is always a fun question, I'm totally game for this.

Isaac (Golden Sun): Compassion IF he was one of the rare cases of a Compassion ring going to a GOOD example of compassion. The world's at stake and he still goes out of his way to help people, even if he doesn't need to or it would slow him down (Stops what he's doing to help Ivan and Mia, helps save Ivan's adopted family which is a totally unnessisary side plot, pulled a woman turned into a tree out of a river before she could drown...which makes more sense in context, even goes BACK to save a guy he doesn't even know from a rockslide).

But since Compassion going to actually compassionat people is rare, Willpower probably. Isaac watches his dad get crushed by a boulder and then gets nearly beaten to death himself a few minutes after that? He spends the next few years studying his powers to make sure he can protect himself and others. World is in danger of falling apart and his friends are kidnapped? He steps up to bat to go off in hot pursuit. A childhood friend seemingly betrays him and insists that the events Isaac's trying to stop need to happen? Isaac chases him across an entire ocean to get answers and to keep trying to save the world anyways. Dude gets a conga-line's worth of kicks to the crotch and still does his best to be a hero.

(Honestly, Willpower works for nearly all the original GS protagonists, they're all 'failures' that keep trying to be the good guys despite always coming up short or dropping the ball)

Tiki (Fire Emblem): Love seems very likely, the love the Divine Dragons have for humanity seems to be one of thier most defining traits, and Tiki is just as affectionate and protective of mankind as her peers. Plus her love for Robin (if the player chooses to get them to hook up) is really sweet and genuine despite the fact that Tiki knows she'll outlast him by thousands of years. Tiki seems to be a good canidate for both platonic and romantic love.

She could also be Hope, being the 'last of the divine dragons' and the oracle/voice of 'god', she's kinda a walking symbol of hope for the people who look up to and worship Naga. Plus her own dedication and belief in humanity and looking to the a better future seems like a very 'hopeful' way to think.

...Willpower probably works too, a lot of these traits seems to overlap a little in what makes you good for what color. Tiki's been alive three thousand years now, she keeps watching mortal people she cares about die, and have three(?) wars under her belt at this point and still gets up from her naps to protect humanity and try to save the world. She's kept her outlook pretty positive despite having almost every reason to give up or even go evil like some of the other dragons.

Lusamine (Pokemon): Love, a sick and twisted Love, but Love. Lusamine has done everything she has for her obsession and love for the Ultra Beasts, and despite her...craziness, she seems genuine in it to some extent (though she is being manipulated just a bit). And when she was healthier, the main trait we see out of her is being a genuinely loving mother and wife before the Ultra Beast Incident.

Could also be Greed, for how selfishly she desires the Ultra Beasts for herself, and how her obsession was more to benifit her rather than the Ultra Beasts too (at least, in HER mind it was for herself), but I lean more Love all things considered.

Might do some more of these sometime, these are fun thought experiments.

Oryx, the Taken King qualifies best for green, black, and in a weird way purple. Mainly due to love and death being the same thing to the Hive, I suppose.

Question. Does yellow lantern like, mean that you're full of fear or that you strike fear in others? Because I've taken it to mean you have fear because with green lanterns you have will power, you don't give it to others.

Usually the second,

The only instance I can think of where anything close to the first was Shaggy and Scooby in a crossover, but even that was because they scared themselves and induced fear in themselves more than anything.

Jackythejack said:
Really? Huh. I mean I could see an argument for either.
Joker is a black lanter
Iirc they tried to recruit Batman once but he was dead.

The former is normal universe Yellow Lanterns, the second is Anti matter universe Yellow Lanterns. The reason the second is so common is because Sinestro got his rings from Qward in the anti matter universe and then brought them back to the normal universe.

Blake doesn't really fit Blue. She's not really the kind of person that inspires hope in others. The closest time was in Menagerie but that was pretty much the only time and it was pretty small scale.

I figured Blue might work for Blake due to her hope for a better future for Faunus, though now that you mention this, it might not fit so well. :p

Batman: Yellow (or green, both have happened)

Vegeta: Red or Orange (whichever one best suits pride I guess)

Little Mac: Green

Original Smash Bros. roster (I might do installments and eventually cover all of them up to Ultimate, but ain't nobody got time to do that in one comment)

Mario: Blue. His mere presence inspires hope when things look bad, even outside of his own universe.

Donkey Kong: Very much depends on which version/adaptation of DK is going on. But in Smash he's a rage-fueled physical brawler so perhaps a non-villainous Red.

Link: Green. Blue would also work for reasons similar to Mario's, but this Link in particular displays a lot of willpower throughout his quest.

Samus: Another green. I mean, her last known adventure in the timeline has her get nearly eaten alive by a parasite, who then steals all her powers, and even with a superior officer holding her back she still perserveres. Quite honestly one of the best examples for the Green Corps I can think of across all of fiction.

Yoshi: More green. Tell me it doesn't take immense willpower to fight all the way up to a giant baby Bowser while having to deal with that baby Mario the whole way.

Kirby: White. Kirby's always saving the day from universe-ending threats and restoring the world even when all has been lost. Who better to represent life?

Fox: Hard toss-up between green and blue again, but I'll lean toward Blue. The whole galaxy feels hope when Star Fox is on the way.

Pikachu: Violet. Considering the Pikachu in Smash is kind of an amalgamation of Ash's and Red's Pikachus, it is known for forming strong bonds of love and trust with others and growing stronger through those bonds. And in SSB it developed a similar relationship with Samus.

Luigi: Yellow. Going by non-canon logic here, but once Shaggy and Scooby-Doo became Yellow Lanterns because their own individual fear was enough to power it, without having to instill fear in others. Luigi is much the same.

Ness: Either Indigo or White. After touching the Truth of the Universe, Ness's conciousness overlaps and connects with the entire universe. His caring for all of the universe would make him a great beacon of compassion, which would make an Indigo ring a great fit despite their usual tendency to go after those WITHOUT compassion. Or a White ring, since he basically defends all of life from Giygas.

Captain Falco: Green. You gotta have willpower to survive the deathtrap that is F-Zero.

Jigglypuff: Red. She's based on the recurring Jigglypuff in the early days of the anime, who's most famous trait was becoming furious with others who would fall asleep when she sang. And since Jigglypuff's most decimating combo in Smash is to put others to sleep to be hit by an inaccurate but extremely strong attack...

But Violet is supposed to go to criminals without compassion, it rehabilitates them by forcing them to feel no other emotion besides compassion.

Indigo, not Violet. But while that's usually the case, there are people like Ray Palmer who could recieve an Indigo Ring because they had the rare combo of strong compassion and a natural ability to control their emotions. The reason they usually go after and brainwash those with 0 compassion is because it's way easier to do that than to teach a regular person to supress themselves, but if somebody already has the required skills, it can still work.

Gunvolt: Probably either Green or Light Blue. Gunvolt has endured tragety after tragety, more or less, but stays hopeful and keeps his will up. His desision at the end of 2 probably took a lot of willpower.

Mega Man (Classic): He'd probably be Green or Blue. Standard hero stuff.

Super Monkey: Error 404: Personality not found. Going off of BATTD, maybe Orange since he's an arrogant prick in that game? Or Indigo so he stops being an arrogant prick?

Josuke Higashikata: Probably blue. He's a pretty compassionate guy. Jotaro even comented on his ability showing how selfless he is. That is until you insult his hair

Kenshiro: While Kenshiro has moments that would have him fit into red, he'd most likely be blue and not red since he's generally a pretty nice guy when you get to know him.

Pyro: Yes

Pyrrho: Probably orange. Betrayal for the sake of recodnition and all.

Slenderman (101 Amazing Slenderman Facts): While they have a bit of a silly side to them, they definately fit into black.
