Title says all. Your favorite character is now a Pokémon trainer running around one of the various routes of the various regions in the series.

Choose a team of up to six existing Pokémon that your character would most likely use based on stuff like personality, abilities they have in canon, whatnot.

Additionally, would your favorite character be a gym leader, wandering trainer, or member of one of the various evil teams seen in the series?

James Bond

Wandering Trainer. Probably out to stop the evil teams in each region

Pokemon:

Charizard: Proud and confident. Done deal

Gallade: Clever but has a real fighting spirit

Jynx: Do I have to explain this?

Braviary: This bird is often used in fan made stuff as patriotic. Usually to America but in this case it can be for England and James

Feraligatr: Bond has canonically wrestled alligators and faced them

Darkrai: Sleep Manipulation. Sleeper Darts. Enough said

Garou

He would be a wandering training since he's always seeking to grow stronger and so would naturally prefer to go on a journey

Team:

Blaziken (Needs a fighting type and Blaziken is one of my top picks in that category)

Primape (Want him to have another fighting type with a decently muscular figure, who doesn't have a characteristic feature that feels irrelevant to Garou)

Golisopod (he's a wimp who grows up to be an intimidating dude, Garou was not a wimp but he was the unpopular kid in school so they fit each other lol)

Midnight Lycanroc (A wolf suits Garou, and midnight form being equipped to fight in a humanlike manner seems ideal)

Hydriegon (He has an obsession with monsters and should thus catch Dark beastlike pokemon)

Tyranitar (Feel like he needs another monstrous dark type)

Pre Timeskip Luffy

Team:

Aipom: Self-explanatory. Both monkeys and Aipom has an almost elastic tail.

Heracross: Luffy actually loves beetles and this type of bugs, and considering the brave nature of Heracross, he'd definitely have one on his team.

Wobbufet: He's a tank in some senses. He takes a lot of punishment and almost always gives it back.

Snorlax: Luffy likes to eat and sleep a lot (sometimes doing both at the same time), but when he wakes up to fight, he's a monster.

Mankey: Energic and aggresive but monkey-ish.

Onyx: Big and sturdy, but not too well adapted to different types of combat and could get easily thrashed as seen in the latest Pre-TS arcs.

Post-Timeskip Luffy

Ambipom: Same as before but enhanced. Double-Slap might be seen in a similar fashion to his Rapid-Fire Techniques.

Infernape. He has now a fire technique and he's still monkey related. He's also weak to water so...

Lucario: Luffy has been growing stronger and his fighting style is more versatile than before. He's also referenced as a hero among lots of peoples (tho he doesn't like that) and Lucario embodies that sense of justice and the versatility Luffy holds now.

Skarmory: Mostly because Boundman works like a flying fortress, and I couldn't think of any Pokémon to match up that idea better than Skarmory.

Ninjask: In order to represent Snakeman, Ninjask is the best Pokémon I could think of.

Primeape: Better prepared to fight, his fighting style is really aggresive.

Taylor Hebert

Originally one of the annoying kids with bug nets catching you off-guard on routes, she got caught up in a local feud that had her joining up with a small group of team rocket agents, comprised of other kid-trainers who could never make it big on their own in Kanto.

Team:

Heracross: Main Pokemon, and a perfect fit for Taylor due to her former mount that was a giant beetle, Atlas.

Beedrill x4: Representing her "swarm" that we commonly see in Worm.

Abra: An odd fit for her mostly bug-type team, kept due to being the first Pokémon she received. Later, she would rely more and more on it due to having to deal with Pokémon that can counter bug-types, evolving it into Alakazam.

Mysterio

Role

Evil team member.

Team:

Zoroark-Main pokemon. He would exploit its illusion abilities in order to perform his various criminal acts

Weezing- represents Mysterios use of smoke and gases

Hypno- represents Mysterios use of Hyponsis and sleep manipulation

Beheeyem-Mysterio has faked alien invasions on more than one occasion with his schemes, so having an alien based pokemon is fitting.

Mimikyu-Mysterio has disguised himself as othe people in the past, So a disguise based pokemon should be fitting.

Octillery- Has worked as part of the Sinister 6 on more than one occasion. which is often lead by Doctor Octopus

Lie Ren has the trainer class of a Cook since he is the cook of the team. Lie Ren's Team:

Greninja
Both are stealthy and fast attackers and cannot take alot of hits with multi hitting moves.

Lurantis
Fits his weapons shape and how he is like a praying mantis.

Sceptile
His ace which can learn bullet seed and leaf blade, which fits into how he uses his weapons.

Lilligant
His weapon is called StormFlower, Lilligant can learn Leaf storm.

Decidueye
Grass and ghost type that also references his destroyed village uses ranged attacks much like Lie Ren happens to do alot.

Lucario
Both can channel their aura for attacks.

Shaymin (Sky Forme)
Another reference to his weapon storm flower only seed flare is the reason for it.
