X-Men Film Series General Discussion Thread

I also found this VFX article that directly states that Apocalypse is more powerful than Pre-Retcon Jean/Phoenix:
“We’ve spent the most time talking about creating a character that’s the most powerful mutant villain that we’ve seen in the X-Men movies so far, more powerful than Magneto or the Phoenix”

Accepted Class M calc for the Sentinels, could someone scale from them?
I can't immediately think of anything that would suggest anyone other than the Sentinels would scale in terms of LS. Even one Sentinel could hold back a punch from Colossus, overpower him, and tear his arm off in the process of knocking him down.

If that statement gets used, it would also put Post-Retcon Jean decently above her Pre-Retcon counterpart.

naturally i would be agree but this is Storm who we are talking about, so it would give the chance of is 50/50 true/hyperbolic
I mean, it's a very common phrase that's regularly used to describe any fast object. Storm or not, it should be assumed to be hyperbole (especially when the whole calc is about KE and is being carried by the assumption that the winds themselves travel at 440,000 m/s)

Hello, I have a question, the novelization implies that Mystique's healing factor is comparable to Wolverine's:
Her morphing ability allowed her to cope with injuries as instantly and comprehensively as the Wolverine’s healing factor; usually it took the near-mortal wounds to draw blood.
But when she was injured by Wolverine's claw, she was unable to regenerate the wound quickly or completely if it even healed, as it's shown that she still has the scars from the wound and stated that no one had ever left a scar like him, and apparently her shapeshifting can't morph the scars either. Could that grant something to Wolverine's claws?

Well, Henry Cavill punching Deadpool through a pillar and Wolverine throwing him through the wall could yield high-end 9-B or maybe 9-A, but besides that I don't remember him having any other feat

Is there any statement from the artbook or some interview that D&W Wolverine, or any other character from the new movie, is as strong or the same as their FOX counterpart?

Dafne Keen confirmed that X-23 is the exact same one from Logan in D&W, and the variant Wolverine seems to have the same memories of the events that his FOX counterpart lived through

From what I remember X-23 only fought against a variant of Juggernaut
and the variant Wolverine seems to have the same memories of the events that his FOX counterpart lived through
Yeah, but I think those memories are just a reference/homage to the FOX movies since they are highly contradicted by the story of D&W Wolverine. For example, there are scenes of Logan, which makes no sense due to the fact that this Wolverine doesn't know X-23 and is over 200 years old but he isn't affected by Adamantium poisoning unlike FOX Wolverine, even though he is affected by alcohol. He also mentions that the X-Men (including Cyclops, Jean, Storm, and Beast) were killed by humans, but Logan didn't meet Beast until X3 after Jean died and not by humans (there's also a scene from X3 that takes place after Cyclops was killed by Jean in his memories). Also the Avengers exist in the universe of D&W Wolverine, so I don't think a few scenes from the old movies (of which almost all are contradicted) mean that this Wolverine is exactly the same (with the same stats and abilities) as his FOX counterpart

I'm injecting you with a serum that activates any mutant genes lurking in your DNA. For it to work, we need to subject you to extreme stress.
