X-Men Film Series General Discussion Thread

The "She couldn't kill him, only make him stronger" is followed up by saying that if she wanted him dead, he'd be gone. Keep this in mind
Yes, this is the complete quote:
The harder she hit him, the more efficiently his body healed. She couldn't kill him, only make him stronger. If she really wanted him gone, there were ways to accomplish it. Throw him away for instance; he had no doubt, at her level, she could put him into orbit with a thought. If he was still here, it was for a reason.

Yes, this is the complete quote:
That doesn’t say that she can kill him though. Just that she could yeet him away if she wanted. The quote you’re looking for is this one.

The adamantium was partly what saved him, because it possessed the tightest molecular binding of any substance conceivable. Given time and will, she could deconstruct it the way she was shredding everything else, but right now her mind was focused on greater things.

Jean's Pre-Retcon key could be:

Key: Base | Phoenix Unleashed

Cyclops feat
Scarlet glory erupted through the air, as though someone had opened a window to the surface of the sun, and raw concussive energy gouged a momentary trench directly to the bottom of the lake, parting the waters like the hands of God through the Red Sea. Unchecked for once, wholly unrestrained, the bolt hammered at the rock along the opposite shore, following Scott's line of sight so that when his gaze flicked towards one of the remaining towers of the dam, the entire structure shuddered with the initial impact, as though struck by a celestial battering ram. Then, with breathtaking suddenness, it shattered, not into rocks and boulders but powder, allowing the implacable beam to strike the mountainsides beyond.

Another feat for Jean
Energy pulsed from her body, spiraling outward across bay and city in successive waves that churned the water more powerfully than any storm of nature. She rose from her perch and descended from bridge to island [...] Jean was hovering above the center of the courtyard that had been the main battlefield, streamers of fiery energy swirling faster and farther from her body as though she were becoming the core of her own galaxy. She was certainly blazing brightly enough, generating so much radiance that even sunglasses would have been little help.

Due to the big differences between the movie and the novelization, is it possible that Jean could have two keys (Movie | Novelization)?

Another feat for Jean but most likely an outlier for Wolverine
She hit him with her telekinesis, a shot to the chest containing the full force of a Category Five hurricane. Anyone else would have been pulped on contact, but Logan merely made a body-sized dent in the wall.
And also a feat for Storm
In the space of a few heartbeats, Ororo ramped up her storm to better than Category Five on the Saffir-Simpson Hurricane Scale, and unleashed its full fury into the heart of the attackers, striking them with wind-driven rain that knocked some off their feet and left the rest too dazed and disoriented to cope with the storm surge that followed, a wave that rose to twice their height and swept the battlefield clean of debris and combatants.

No, thats really not required and would simply clutter things up. The novelization can be used for her general stuff. Sure, the descriptions are pretty bold, but they technically aren't contradicted in the film given this is all information conveyed through descriptions

Instinctive Action and Analytical Prediction for Wolverine
He was quick, but that was just the start of it. His healing factor gave Logan a reaction time that was significantly greater than the average sapien, or the average mutant. He rarely needed to think as he fought, on any conscious level; his body, working through backbrain and instinct and physical memory, did that for him. He reacted to the slightest of cues, on levels more subtle than most hunting dogs, which allowed him to begin his counter at virtually the same time, so it seemed to his adversaries as though he was reading their minds, anticipating their every attack.

Jean discorporating Earth would be AP or just hax? Since she was mainly doing it with Matter Manipulation (Deconstruction and Transmutation)

I suppose hax based on how its described? Plus, the text provides other stuff that would place her higher

Should still count for AP since she is reducing the planet down to quarks and shit and she can focus this energy if she wants to like with Wolverine.
Is there a calc for the subatomic destruction of Earth? Although her Matter Manipulation reaches quantum level. And which timeframe should we use?

Jean has these two statements
She played with the core molecular structure of the metal, altering its density, its shape, its state, its very physical nature. She made it a glob of primordial ylem

"Discorporating the planet," was the reply. "Stripping existence around her down to its primal component states."
The Ylem is this, would that just be Matter Manipulation/Transmutation or could it be something else?
