That's reasonable. I still don't think calling you a liar is being particularly reasonable or cooperative, but I digress.but I may misremember something, so I asked for input from people who participated in one of the Dark Tower revision threads.![]()
He explicitly posted in his wiki profile page that he had killed himself on a specific date. What exactly did he say that made you think he killed himself?
Okay. That is pretty hard to defend as just a joke unless you're an extremely edgy and insensitive person. He explicitly posted in his wiki profile page that he had killed himself on a specific date.![]()
I mean, it was still public. It seems like Jason posted that information in his personal infobox though, and I did not take a screencapture of it at the time, but I did link to it in Jason's last Dark Tower revision thread several months ago, and other people presumably saw it that way.

Here is another likely sockpuppet account btw.

Maybe we should check the IP of that new account. I get home frustrating it is to keep checking IP, but if it has yet more overlap that makes it clearer.
I have asked Fandom about it now. It applied the exact same type of edits as the other two accounts within a very close timeframe though.![]()
I received a reply from Fandom which said that the Jason_Voorhees1986 and Yeah_boy382 accounts have IP overlaps, but not with GrandMarshalAzure, so I will unblock the last account and give a warning instead for the moment, unless other staff members think that we should ban them all.Already plenty suspicious. If the IP also overlap I'd say that's enough for a ban.
I'm gonna be straight up as someone who wasn't involved in this when it happened... Apologies don't cut it. He sockpuppeted, suggested suicide, joke or not, and was a repeat vandal. It is by the grace of several deities that he's even gonna have the chance to appeal this later; The man did two perma-worthy things and one thing that gets most sub-1K message members banned for months.
Even if he only did it once or twice he's still got two permas under his belt.Well, due to the combination of a somewhat bad memory and lots of tasks to keep track of, I am not sure about to what degree he has vandalised/performed edits that went beyond what was agreed in content revision threads.![]()
SameI've already agreed with a permanent ban for reasons above.
Taking a character from tier 9-C to 0 is a vandal act. So yes, it’s definitely banworthy
I blocked them permanently.
Okay. So what should we write as the ban reason for the two accounts? "Faked their own suicide, sockpuppetting, and vandalism"?I think I’ve gotta agree with Reaper here. A permanent ban with the possibility of appeal after a while sounds about right for what he did.
If we want to be as absolute fair as possible and give the benefit of the doubt (specially if we don't have any way to show they did write an apparent suicide date on their bio), we can just note the sockpuppeting and vandalism alone, as the first is already a permaban offense regardless if they did or did not make suicide "joke".Okay. So what should we write as the ban reason for the two accounts? "Faked their own suicide, sockpuppetting, and vandalism"?![]()
Could change it to something like 'falsified self-harm' if we feel 'faked their own suicide' is too personal.Okay. So what should we write as the ban reason for the two accounts? "Faked their own suicide, sockpuppetting, and vandalism"?![]()
I remember the tier 0 upgrade got shot down, I thought there was some settling on 1-A or High 1-A but I don’t remember what exactly was decided on there.@FinePoint @Xearesay
Do you or Jockey remember better what happened during the Dark Tower revisions, including the manner they were applied in our wiki? If so, your input would be very appreciated here.![]()
So "Falsified self-harm, sockpuppetting, and vandalism" then? Should the ban be permanent or not?Could change it to something like 'falsified self-harm' if we feel 'faked their own suicide' is too personal.
Otherwise, I think those reasoning are fine.
Probably. So "Falsified self-harm, sockpuppetting, and vandalism" then? Should the ban be permanent or not?![]()
That is what was agreed on.So "Falsified self-harm, sockpuppetting, and vandalism" then? Should the ban be permanent or not?![]()
Reverted and banned. Their entire edit history is nothing but major vandalism, and they've ignored warnings and been banned before. If staff think the ban is too harsh they can change it, but this is a very obvious vandal and troll.
From the given reason of that edit, it seems like imgs weren't upto standard. This user deleted a profile's accepted renders without reason
Wanted to post here just to be sure if I can add them back
If so, then I'll leave it beFrom the given reason of that edit, it seems like imgs weren't upto standard.
Also,
@DbzDB2, There’s no rule preventing supporters from updating character profile images when different variants exist.
And if a rendered image isn’t up to standard, it’s reasonable to have it removed.
Removing a render and replacing it with just a plain image doesn’t justify this. If you feel they were too much (which I don’t agree with), the best course of action would have been to delete the renders you find “excessive,” not outright delete the whole thing. To be honest, I'm sick of people cluttering up profiles by adding a million unnecessary images and quotes. We don't need a picture for every outfit he wears throughout the series. This website is for character stats, not character quotes or appearances. And honestly, the renders were trash. They were blurry and badly cropped. The only acceptable render was the one that I made, and even that wasn't very good so I just swapped it with a non-render. If they're not up to standards, we should just use non-renders imo.
Look at this. What is even going on with the strange artifacts on his chest? Did you use AI to do the rendering? I'm sorry but it looks terrible.
