Why is Aku stronger than Samurai Jack?

Because Jack kicks Aku's ass via skill and his sword being Aku's weakness. He's not stronger in terms of raw power. Aku literally made an exact duplicate of Jack in an attempt to destroy him, before, and was going to find and kill him when Jack lost his sword.
