Who's the best Asian fighter? Ip-Man (Donnie Yen) vs Rama (The Raid)

Hmm. Honestly not sure about this one. It might come down to experience though I'm bias to Ip-Man

Hmm, then as painful as it admits I'll lean a bit more on Rama due to that.

Uh, Ip-Man can punch 5 times A SECOND, send people FLYING ACROSS ROOMS with a punch compared to Rama's cracking walls and breaking apples. Ip-Man also dealt with bladed weapons before with ease, and the only real challenges he's gotten before was against a Champion Boxer that cheated, and a retired Former Champion Boxer that is probably borderline superhuman and even then fought about evenly with him.
I mean, MULTIPLE Masters in Karate (If I remember right) was unable to properly tag Ip-Man, I'm pretty sure he wins.

I counted your vote but something tells me you don't know much about Rama, his entire first movie took place in a single day. A from very early in the morning till the afternoon. Throughout the whole day was an absurd amount of fighting (much higher stamina), his durability is also arguably higher. To add he is much more experienced with killing in his fights, which he actively does all the time.

What I'm trying to say is that I don't think that Ip-Man has been in such a bad scenario as Rama has before

Might be aim dodging. And will have to remind you that Ip man fought off those martial artists when he was starving and trying to conserve his energy so he was far from his peak that time.

I am going with Rama too, he knocked out and killed far more people than Ip-Man ever did and his durability and stamina also give him the edge since he survived a fall from like 2 floors without any brokens bones (He fainted for a while but he got better)

I don't think a killcount really matters as a sort of marker to show who's stronger. I think it's more about morals if that's the case. In the meantime though I'm remembering that Ip Man took out 10 martial artists (blitzing them), he was not only starving or rather not healthy, but he also hasn't trained for so long.
Then there's the issue of being swarmed by mobs with various weapons in the third movie and taking hits from Mike Tyson and was still up in his feet after, even successfully blocking later. Being able to keep up in speed and strength is something. Then there's the ease of using any environmental weapon around him alongside the terrain. I'm gonna move my vote to Ip man.

This is actually pretty close. Both fighters are good at using their environment, both can kill without hesitation if needed, but I'm gonna go with Donnie Yen's Ip-Man, mainly because he is quite a bit taller than Iko Uwais - 1.73cm vs 1.65cm. This gives him a critical range advantage

In an actual realistic matchup that's not dictated by how op you can be, minor subtle things can matter tbf.

I'm going with Ip-Man since I'm more familiar with him and most likely the better fighter overall.

Personally, my vote goes to Ip-Man because, in addition to many reasons stated above, he seems to have the skill advantage here going by his various showings. He managed to win against a trained boxer much bigger than him while restricted to using nothing but punches, meaning he's capable of beating someone who has a natural range advantage while being unable to perform at his peak. IIRC, the closest Rama ever got to doing that was when he fought 'Hammer Girl' and 'Baseball Bat Man' (lol) who possessed an even greater range advantage, but were nowhere near as well-trained as Twister or Ip-Man, were restricted to a hallway that barely allowed them to use said range advantage (not that they seemed proficient in doing so anyway), and still forced Rama to fight with most of what he had. Ip-Man also beat Cheung Tin Chi while disoriented and blinded in one eye, evading several of his blows before parrying the last strike and hitting him in the stomach hard enough to disable him.
Giving it to Ip-Man, albeit with some serious difficulty here. The skill gap just doesn't seem like one that Rama will be able to cross, not under these conditions.
