Whis ability?

Looking back at epiosde 3 of Dragon Ball Super, we saw Whis checking his staff looking for the "Super Saiyan God".... but then said that it doesnt exist anymore. Should a ability be added where he can track down anyone in existence? He also tracked down planet earth as an example.

I would think his staff is nigh omniscience... The staff can see everything currently happening in time (The preseant), the staff can see ALL of history (The past), it just doesnt show the future.

I don't think "Due to his age and power, it can be assumed that Whis has an invaluable amount of fighting experience and knowledge. He is also the teacher of Beerus, the current God of Destruction of Universe 7 by HIMSELF. Nigh- omniscience with his staff" would be a stretch.

That's a MASSIVE stretch, he hasn't shown anything anywhere near Nigh-Omniscience. This is absurd.

@Gokuiscool And your proof of that is...? Showing visions of the past and present is a pretty common ability and is nowhere near any degree of Omniscience.
