Where does the 5 times stronger than armor spider come from?

I seen on several of the demon's souls demons like the flamelurker, old hero, etc that they are at least 5 times stronger than the armor spider but where exactly does that come from?

Souls are the power source of Demon's Souls characters as well as the metaphysical core of their being. So when you absorb their soul, you absorb all of their power because you're essentially fusing their being into your own. With all the level 1 bosses such as Armor Spider being roughly equal in raw power, the level 2 bosses such as Flamelurker would need to be more powerful than the 5 level one bosses put together to actually be bosses, otherwise the Slayer of Demons would stomp them

Alright that makes sense its very logical that a level 2 boss is superior to the combined level 1 bosses. But if thats the case why don't we do that with speed? Like why dont we assume the slayer also gets the speed of demons he absorbs the souls of.

We don't really have solid proof that their speed increases as well. Supersonic speed is very consistent across the game, with only one showing of a Supersonic character getting blitzed (Dragon God's punch moving much faster than a beginning-of-game Slayer of Demons attempting to evade), but that feat itself only measurably reaches Mach 1.5 without calc stacking. There's also no stat for speed in Demon's Souls, so we can't go off of that to definitively say that characters get faster, either
