Whats the deal with speed?

I understand that this website is a professional index platform for fictional and real characters across the wiki fandom domain, but it has come to my attention that with the latest rule being enforced that speed equalization is the default to all match ups and the fact that no one uses speed now I have come to the conculsion that the speed stat should either be removed completly or quaratined into a confined space, sort of like a vault that is only accessed every few hundred years or so when speed might be a thing.

Blah blah blah this is a statistics indexing wiki and the versus battles themselves are just a stupid diversion unimportant to the profiles themselves, save for only the others section, which is a footnote so irrelevant many pages lack it entirely because people forgot it
