What if William Afton was a Batman Villain?

What if William Afton existed in the DC Universe and his story was adapted so he'd become a Batman villain? (The type of Batman depends on your personal preference)

A restaurant in Gotham city called Freddy Fazbear's Pizza got into legal trouble over the disappearances of numerous children. Upon the discovery of the childrens' corpses inside the animatronics, the business was flooded with enough lawsuits to put it out of business. The killer, however, was never apprehended due to a lack of decisive evidence. William Afton, the owner of the restaurant, wanted to salvage the animatronics for parts to save whatever money he had left. Said owner unwittingly freed the restless revenants of the murdered children who wanted revenge on their killer, Mr. Afton himself. Fearing for his life, William Afton crammed himself inside a dilapidated animatronic suit fitted with spring locks. The corroded spring locks failed, which turned the suit into an iron maiden, inflicting mortal wounds all over Mr. Afton's body and condemning him to a slow and brutal death.

A few decades later, someone cluelessly took Mr. Afton's body out of the old restaurant to use to decorate their Freddy Fazbear's Pizza horror attraction at a theme park. But for some inexplicable reason, William Afton still lives, his spirit trapped inside the spring lock suit like the children he murdered. After suffering alone in the restaurant with his decaying sanity as his only company, William Afton became a being that is satiated by the very act of committing murder. After he failed to kill the security guard employed to watch over the attraction, the place burned down, rendering Springtrap's whereabouts unknown.

Since then, a mysterious serial killer has plagued Gotham, murdering people without a discernible motive, eluding the authorities at every turn. It seems Batman is the only detective who can bring this killer to justice.

How does Batman and Springtrap's first confrontation play out?
Batman tether gg
Literally
Like it's his go to and blud cant break it

From there Batman just questions him, takes DNA samples, and figures it all out.

What unique challenges does Springtrap present to Batman?
None
Like literally none, unless it's some extreme low end iteration

How does Batman figure out Springtrap's true identity?
DNA sample and cross reference it with every mf who's lived in Gotham for the past 70 years.

What does Batman do to defeat/kill Springtrap?
Punch him the **** out
Tether to bound and incap.
Ring up Zantana or John and have them do an exorcism for tree fiddy, unless it's modern, in which he does it himself.

Will Springtrap become a recurring villain in the Rogues Gallery, or will he just be a one-off villain of the week?
Not smart enough to stick around.
He's already dead so he cant stay because Batman wont kill him, a quick exorcism and he's gone for good.

I believe this is more of a "Springtrap has the stats to at least match up to batman" kinda situation. Of course, in his current state springtrap gets stomped, but I belive this is more of a 'stats equal' fun game tp see and come up with ideas.
  • What unique challenges does Springtrap present to Batman?
My guess is that the biggest problem for Batman would be his Illusion creation, which would mess with Batman's vision, Technology Manipulation, which would mess with Batman's gadgets, and Invisibility, which would make him hard to track.
