What are the arguments against dimensional tiering? And that they would respond to defend it?

I think it's because from what I've seen, most go by terminology introduced in comics and either such science fiction as opposed to something more complex and unknown like dimensional tiering

Well, I have also seen that the dimensional system does not work because the M theory says that the extra dimensions are very small.
Any explanation of that last one?

Well, we used to use dimensional tiering before the new system, which now focuses on infinite cardinal numbers and set theory. UltimaReality's the best person to ask for any accurate explanation.
But dimensions can still be used to justify tiering in the new system provided that they are provably infinite or of a non-insignificant size. Compactified dimensions don't really mean anything anymore.
