It isnt. All arguments have been laid outI'll assume the debate continues then lol.
He killed the CEO of racism, but was still buried underneath a Kojiro train...Nominating Claude von Riegan for bows. Man's a ******' showoff even compared to some of the more obvious picks like Hawkeye or Green Arrow.
Uh... Roxas is the one being nominated, not Sora, but still.Going Sora FRA.

(I'm not counting Fallen Star making him guaranteed to dodge the next attack since that's something he only gets from Failnaught and is just an ability separate from his skill)
- Precisely predicted exactly where Nemesis would be and made sure an arrow hit him right on time with Byleth's attack
- Can precisely land a shot while dodging a melee attack with a backflip
- Can precisely land a shot while backflipping on a Wyvern
- Shoots another arrow out of the air as it's flying at him
- Able to jump in the air and precisely land a shot while also upside-down, landing on his Wyvern which dodged an attack
- Precisely lands three shots while having the Wyvern he's actively riding perform a barrel roll
- This is technically Shez, but Claude is fully capable of all of this in gameplay, including but not limited to firing several arrows with one pull of his bow, doing the same on horseback and firing arrows with machinegun-like speed.
- Can casually dance around trained soldiers even in melee while using a bow
- Three Hopes Barbarossa, just Three Hopes Barbarossa
- Despite being outmatched in raw stats, he's able to fight against and kill Rhea, who has centuries if over an eon of combat experience, with some help from Shez
- Capable of firing his arrow in such a way that it prevents his opponent from moving via Encloser
- I'm pretty sure this just counts as magic at this point, but so far as we know it's not, so he can somehow fire arrows at people from multiple angles without moving his bow. I probably wouldn't count this personally, but if you wanna go right ahead
- I don't have any footage of this because Three Hopes is new, but Claude can fight and defeat a duplicate of himself created by the godlike mage Epimenides, and then fight said mage, who has a significant amount of combat experience himself, despite mages having a natural advantage over bow users in gameplay.
- Other Archers who should be far inferior to Claude, such as nameless faceless archers and the likes of Bernadetta, are capable of unleashing Fusillades from all the way across a battlefield, Bernadetta being able to do so while it's impossible to track her (I don't have footage because Three Hopes is new, but it's in the mission in Golden Wildfire where you're able to recruit Bernadetta)
- Should be in the same ballpark as Shamir, who required an entire mercenary company to slowly whittle her down over time in order to defeat her, and even then, Shamir only notes it's "Entirely possible" she could have lost, meaning it's also probably possible she would have been able to kill all of them instead, and even if she couldn't, she would have been able to kill a lot of them.
- It's worth noting that the story generally ignores how laughably superior the playable units are to enemy armies in terms of raw stats, implying several times that simple bad luck could get you killed if you weren't careful, such as Balthus believing he would have died to a few generic archers had he not been lucky, implying Shamir's statement was intended one of skill more than of raw stats
- This isn't even getting into his military and political genius, as these ultimately aren't relevant to his prowess with a bow.
If nobody has any issues with that, I'm fine with that conclusion.
Not entirely? Kenshiro literally has ranged techniques and some of the techniques he learns have some pretty good range as well. (Unless we're going off of what he's best skilled at? Which Hokuto does have ranged techniques)Wouldn't Kenshiro fit in the bare-handed section?
