Because King Dedede managed to defeat Magolor (in The Arena of RTDL) and Dark Meta Knight (Dedede Tour). And in case you didn't know, RTDL mentioned that Magolor could destroy universes. And Dark Meta Knight defeated Meta Knight (aka the strongest fighter in the galaxy).

Still, you didn't nerf his durability and strength. As I said, King Dedede's one tough penguin, as he can take hits from Galacta Knight and Kirby, both said to be planet and possibly universe busters. Wario needs garlic just to stand a chance (Wario-Man is in fact strong, but in comparison to Dedede, he's a bit weaker). King Dedede managed to defeat Dark Meta Knight, who is the clone of the strongest warrior in Kirby's universe (yes, I'm repeating this). Wario on the other hand... the best he could do was defeating the Shake King.

unless you are referring to base magolor, he's way stronger than anyone else in the kirby-verse (him being defeted by kirby, DDD, meta and bandana dee is considered a HUGE outlier)

In that case, Goku is stronger than Whis. That's the entire idea behind scaling. Zero 2>Dark Nebula.

The position and authority of Zero-Two seems to be based on speculation, while Dark Nebula is confirmed to be the "king of darkness", he's not some random Dark Matter soldier.

There is no evidence to claim that he is a Dark Matter.

He is a final boss, the "king of darkness" and his name is Dark Zero, he could be as or more important and powerful then 0 and 0┬▓.

The Kirby 25th guidebook confirms that he is a dark matter soldier. Final boss doesn't mean anything. Regular Dark Matter soldiers are fodder to current Kirby and they were a final boss.
