Also, I just realized there are a lot less people working on the gfycat project than I had initially thought. I was wroking on the comicvine issue because I wanted to distribute our manpower among all of the wiki projects, but the gfycat project definetly takes precedence since its on a timecrunch.

No. As far as I have understood, the dead links simply need to be removed before our wiki can be admitted into the Fandom Compass, so that is not a prioritised task currently.
