[Rest In Peace Drive.]
[And now a random moment with the Blahs:
"a delightfully painful disintegration" is it?

eyes gleaming) "Oh my god it's a *********!" Blahster: (irritation invisible from the outside) "you're annoying, Assassin, please die." Unknown Blah: (in what he thinks is a calming voice) "Don't fight you two, you must reform yourselves and become bet-" (one half of his body freezes while the other explodes into blood.) Unknown Blah: "See? You're already working with people you dislike! Now if it will help you reform, continue attacking me as much as you want!" Blahster and Blahssassin: (with faces of apathy and disgust respectively)
Just die already!]
[Not sure why I chose to write that, anyways, I kinda wanted to try using my zabaniya to see if I could cause an air burst in his attack, oh well. Anyways, we should be closer to Heron's Tower than the shard, since that's where the Duck and Waffle is. Keep in mind I flew the plane past and away from the shard.]
[Oh, thought of this just before posting: if Andy had taken galvanism could he have argued for absorbing his own full power SK intonhimself for a more efficient version of his self firing railgun/nuke?]
The servant introduces himself as Lancer and agrees to testing ourselves on the newcomer, and at that moment Archer fully leaves the range I can track.
A few seconds after I lose track of Archer I feel a light shockwave and hear the distant sound of a large object breaking well beyond the sound barrier. Lancer looks to the sky and says:
"I'd look out if I were you Assassin"
"What?" I look to where he's pointing, then feel a strong yet distant burst of magic as a star bursts, surrounded by lightning, and a streak of light blasts towards us.
Oi oi oi! The hell's that?
"Lucifer (Devil-King of the Inferno)" I'm suddenly burning.
"Graaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!"
Itburnsitburnsitburnsitburnsitburns!
The fires around me begin weakening,
I'll rip him to pieces! But before I act Lancer says "Sorry. I needed to get us both out of there quickly"
You think I give a ****?! …no. He's right, calm down. I grit my teeth, while looking at this hellscape of flames. But the world around us begins cracking.
"Oh my. Good thing we got out of there quickly. If that attack was powerful enough to disrupt my Marble, it would have most definitely been enough to kill us both" Lancer returns us to the normal world. Though we're no longer at ground zero.
I look around and observe the destruction. Tens of thousands must have died, but there was no suffering.
How completely tasteless! I begin absorbing souls from the area. Buildings are falling into the crater and more people continue to die.
At least these ones are properly suffering. In the deepest part there even seems to be some magma bubbling out of the mantle…
I'll remember that for later use.
Lancer snaps me out of my thoughts, "Heh. Looks just like home. Well, not actually home. My home's a lot more peaceful. But the home I'm meant to have... well, this is a spitting image of it, hehe." My dream home has a few more people in it, though none of them would be in a situation one would call 'living'.
"What the hell was that?" I have to know, someone's curiosity is killing me.
"well... that archer you fought before? I guess he was something of a sore loser. He'd rather kill you than survive himself. And with an attack of that much mana expenditure, he's definitely dead now."
What a let-down. I can't see him struggle now. I thought he'd be too scared to fight back, but I overdid it and made him too scared to let me live.
My master telepathically contacts me
Assassin, what happened? The whole base shook then I had to sever our sense sharing when you were in pain, and with all footage of the area shut down we can't tell what happened.
I tell him
Archer wiped a chunk of London off the map, he's dead now. Don't worry.
Oh, okay, so nothing important, I guess I'll report that. Anything else?
No, but isn't your sense sharing a bit too effective? You can turn it back on one by the way.
Yeah, I thought it might help, but I'll be fixing it now.
After I finish, Lancer chimes in. He really knows when to act. "So! I suspect that if your stunt with the airplane didn't attract any attention, that definitely did! So, I think that we should get out of here. Let's head to a place worthy of my status... Buckingham Palace!" That's right I guess we need to get going.
"Alright, but I need to do something first." As he turns to ask me what, I punch Lancer right in the cheek, he's sent rolling along the floor then slides to a stop on his back. He looks at me with a shocked expression and seems to be prepared to attack. For a moment his eyes turn red and bloodlust floods over the area. I barely stop my survival instincts that tell me to immediately kill him. His eyes quickly return to normal and his expression returns to a quizzical one.
How scary~
I smile wryly at him, saying "alright, now we're even. Let's get to that palace." and begin moving. "Oh right, don't worry about any information being revealed through normal means. My master had some people take down all this area's CCTV, security cameras, and even satellite feed well before the fight started. Add the spies and double agents we have set up, and it shouldn't be possible for the mage's association or church to figure out which servants were involved in this incident, so don't worry about bounties for now."
