If you're strapped for cash and not planning to do gaming (Because you won't be able to game if you don't cash out thousands of dollars for a laptop) then consider buying a Chromebook. They go for half the price a compareable Windows or Mac Laptop would go, will do 90% of the tasks you would normally do with a proper laptop and are easy to use if you ever touched a Android device.

The Fandom interface is infinitely worse on mobile so not using your phone is a good decision.

Thing is that I'm kinda forced to use it since that's the only way I can view the fandom.
It's a pain in the ass having 5+ tabs you have to go in and out of constantly just to look at a characters' profile you want to make a match with.
