I think it’s talking about Maka’s Anti-Demon Wavelength which can drive away evil and its impurities. I don’t remember her ever using that ability in a fight besides breaking an illusion, so it might just not come up.

He can make a circle which lets him open a portal to the Nightosphere. He did that to summon Marceline’s dad, but he wouldn’t in a fight. It says he can make one under people but he’s mainly just a sword fighter.
