Using Mt. Silver as base for many Pokemons calcs

What title said, why do we use Mt. Silver, a very important mountain as the base to calcs like Pupitar toppling a mountain? I was searching for old calcs about Charizard melting a mountain, and they used Mt. Silver (Mt. Funji) as the base for the mountain. Again, why are we using an important mountain in Pokemon verse to scale like, every statement with "mountain" word? You can find Moltres, Red and a lot of rares Pokemons there, this makes the mountain unique. I am sure using Mt. Funji's size for every Pokemon calc is iffy. We should use our standards here, unless the mountain is stated

How big is Mt. Silver compared to are standard mountain size anyway?. Edit: nevermind, I checked.

@M3X

I checked but edited my comment to late, thanks though.

Unless Mt. Silver is stated to be an average mountain in pokemon I think using a standard mountain size is better.
