A roaring siren echoes throughout of the streets of J-City, the defeated cries of another hero rang out as they hung in the hands of the Sea King, their hands gripping at his giant forearm in attempt to escape his grasp.
"Disgusting..." The Sea King had tossed aside the helpless fool that dared challenge him with little effort. "Is this all these "heroes" have for me?"
He had been taken aback with a sudden jolt of pain on his face, he had been cut by a thrown object that faded away as soon as it landed. This was a surprise, he had looked around to find the source of the weapon to only what appeared to be another of the Seafolk.
"FIGHT ME!" Undyne had shouted out with enthusiasm, undoubtably pumped up,
"You would dare attack me with my back turned?" The Sea King had inquired. "Why do you defend this pitful beings, these humans?" A hint of disdain in venom marked his tone.
"A human once taught me that there is more than meets the eye to their kind!" Undyne took a battle stance, twiddling a spear in her hands. "...And as long as that child is in my heart, I WILL KILL ANYONE WHO THREATENS HUMANS!"
The Sea King had chuckled at Undyne's eagerness, gently stroking the cut on his face as it began to heal. "You know..."
The clouds in the air began to darken, thunder roared across the sky. It had begun to rain.
"...that hurt, a little."
The wind is howling.
