What do you think about Vulkin becoming 8-C? There's also the Knight Knight calc too.
 
I guess that works. Even though you would have to be hit with the full bolt if lightning for 1 second to get to 8-C, anyone with higher ATK should do more damage than Vulkin's lightning anyway.
 
I agree with everything except the speed scaling increase. Those lightning bolts are extremely cartoonish and don't behave like real lightning at all. I am not sure if Toby intended for Volkan's lightning to move at the speed of real lightning and make everyone lightning-timers. That and it seems too different from Asriel's lightning and Asriel's lightning acts more like real lightning.

Flowey should get 9-B, possibly/likely/At most 9-A in his baseline Durability. Bro took a hit from Toriel, who has little reason to hold back but could've also just made her attack comparable to Flowey's own

I am pretty sure Toriel did hold back a lot against Frisk though.

But regardless, the Varies thing already covers it.

Why is tier 7 or 8 not consistent again? Asgore did hold his own against 8-B humans
 
About the Vulkin thing, we know that at absolute least it hits Frisk for 1/30th of a second as Undertale is locked at 30 FPS.

Meaning that if we divide 1.6 billion Joules for 30 we get 53333333.3 Joules or 0.0127 Tons, aka still 9-A.

Surprisingly consistent with it being below Mettaton lol.

Saw this being added. Issue is that monsters were explicitly all slaughtered and it was not even a war, but a one-sided massacre.

Nothing says Asgore scales from those.

Lad, Vulkin ends up being 8-C due to making the lightning in the first place, which would scale to anyone with a higher ATK stat than 25
 
Also, consistently doesn't matter that much when 8-C isn't even that far above 9-A,
Plus, Deltarune does the same thing

There's this issue. Plus humans can survive 8-C lightnings because it hits them for FAR LESS than a second.
 
It doesn't matter if Frisk takes the full value or not tho
Vulkin can output 8-C energy with 25 ATK, anyone with more than 25 ATK will output more energy than Vulkin, and would be 8-C

Mind given an explanation, by the way? If plasma indeed has a power of 10 billion Joules per meter cube, it would be around 5 billion Joules or 1.195 Tons.

If we’re going by the GBE Formula for stars, this would’ve been the equation using the values I calculated

SOUL: 19 px/0.52 meters

Sun: 39 px/1.06736842105 meters (radius is 0.53368421052 meters)

Volume: (4/3)*pi*0.53368421052^3 is 0.63671000086 m^3

Density of the sun is 1410 kg/m^3

1410*0.63671000086 is 897.761101213 kg

GBE: (3*6.67408*10^-11*897.761101213^2) / (0.53368421052(5-0.5)) is 0.00006719506 joules

Yeah, it isn’t impressive

Huh, never thought of that. If we do that method:

(10^10)*0.63671000086 is 6367100008.6 joules/1.52177342461759 tons, or Building level+
 
I guess the currently baseline 9-A would scale to 0.38 Tons via Vulkin
While all the characters with an ATK stat above 36 would scale to Knight Knight's 1.52 Tons
