Toshiro Hitsugaya vs. Kazuma Kuwabara

Neither of them open with "teleports behind you" or things like that. Toshiro, like most from Bleach, gauge opponents in their base/unreleased form and amp it up from there, and Kuwabara just rushes, so Kuwabara's gonna start by attacking head on while Toshiro plays defense to study him, and when their swords clash Kuwabara's gonna slice through Toshiro's sword and body in a single slice.

Kuwabara's sword slices through space/dimensions, and Toshiro has no way of blocking or defending against that, further he has no reason to assume it can do so and dodge or pull back ahead of time, to him it would just look like an off color reishi sword weilded by some random quincy mook. And no, the ice clone thing is a bankai technique, so he isn't pulling that off right off the bat.

Kuwabara wins for that reason.

I agree with this assessment. Plus Kuwabara has a big AP advantage here. The only advantages Hitsugaya has would be in endurance and intelligence. Do I think they'd save him from a dimension slash? I don't know.
