Tornado of Terror Vs Metal Bat

Going by profiles, Tatsumaki has 1000x advantage in LS and most likely scales higher than Metal Bat at his strongest:

Psykorochi one-shot < Tatsumaki holding back on her fight against Saitama (after Saitama withstood a power that Fubuki, who witnessed Psykorochi one shot, thought was Tatsu full power, Tatsumaki stated that if she uses just a little power Saitama might not die) < Tatsumaki full power

Psykorochi one shot < SC < MB full Pumped up < SC drill < Garou & MB resonance

And let's remember after said resonance, MB was left out of combat

So, unless MB starts directly at his strongest with resonance, he gets paralyzed due to massive LS difference and dies. If he starts pumped up at High 6-A and with speed unequalized, he may have a chance to speedblitz if Tatsumaki does not have her Aura active.

Anyway, this is a stomp either way. If Tatsumaki can react to MB, she just paralyzes him with Tk. If she can't, MB speedblitzes

I mean that Tornado vs bat is an extreme mismatch

As someone who is throughly entwined with OPM, this simply isn’t close and will possibly never be close 🗿 tornado ragdolls bat casually and his fighting spirit isn’t gonna change that

bat doesn't start at High 6-A Speed FTL? Normally, according to Standard Battle Assumptions, we stick to the character's strongest points. Doesn't that mean the bat can blitz Tatsumaki?

Does SBA not say that matches should have equal speed? Most matches have equal speed, but if not, bat being able to blitz her (if even possible) is just a result of inconsistent writing where they had Bat be equal speed with garou vs sage centipede

By this logic, Metal bat probably blitzes flashy flash too, and that is just a no-no 🙈

Why Metal Bat doesn't start at Fighting Spirit, I don't understand. Anyway, Standard Battle Assumptions make them start at peak.

Metal Bat's loss is not surprising since the threads are speed equalized.
 
I’m not sure why it’s a viable battle either way, it should be obvious that Tastumaki pretty much merks metal bat, regardless of the rules and preconditions
 
From Metal Bat's greatest achievement, when he joined forces with Garou to defeat Sage Centipede, we know that Metal Bat was able to scale with Garou at that time, which was after his victory over Platinum Sperm. And Platinum Sperm at that time was superior to Flashy Flash, meaning that Metal bat's peak speed was much faster than Flashy Flash. He should be able to blitz Tatsumaki instantly without equal speed adjustments (obviously in the thread there is no such adjustment.)

Yes, that's true. Anyway, I don't think Metal bat is not at FTL level at all, he has shown us that he can surpass Garou even without resonance. And if you say that Garou doesn't use high speed in... At that time That would be strange since Garou wanted to help Tareo. There was no reason he couldn't be super speed at that time.

But this isn't something to talk about in this thread. I'd rather say it in the content editing thread.
