Thought this would be a fun game.

Simply put, which verses have ended their story/franchise the longest time ago, and hasn't been officially revived since? The verse needs to be notable enough to have its own page, and stuff like Mythology and Fables/Fairytales do not count for obvious reasons.

Putting the Cthulu Mythos at the #1 spot for now seeing as it only counts stuff by the head honcho Lovecraft himself I assume.
 
That weird Russian book verse that got deleted a while ago.

It was from the late 50s and deleted from the wiki. How dead-er can you be? OvO

Vasily Golovachov was born in 1947 and started his career in 1969. The Golovachov verse is relatively new compared to those ones that are supposed to be listed in this thread.
