Tier Revision for Black Sperm

With the new OPM chapter, there's been some additional context to help establish Black Sperm's tier listing. According to Homeless Emperor, a single Black Sperm clone is strong enough to easily take down an A-Class hero. The lowest-level A-class heroes are established to be Small Building Level, while the moderately stronger A-class heroes such as Stinger are City Block Level. Therefore, I think that Black Sperm's new rating should be:

Tier: Varies from 9-A, up to at least 7-A, possibly higher

Also, a key for Platinum Sperm should probably be added to his profile as well, though as of now, his tier should probably be Unknown.

Well, then I agree. However, I'd change the OP from "9-A" to "At least 9-A" as Homeless describes the Black Sperms doing so easily.

Actually, if Homeless said they can do so easily, why not just leave them at Tier 7? Saitama, for example, has been stated to handle his opponents rather easily.

Easily taking down A-Class doesn't really contradict damaging a mid-tier S-Class.

I got a question that I asked in the other thread but I'll ask here. Does "easily" warrant a tier 9 or 8 for BS?

Saitama and King, for example, are stated to defeat opponents easily, as Genos was when he was defeating fodder monsters during the tournament. Homeless described a single BS easily beating A Class heroes but that could be because they are already S class.

Tier 8-B at minimum I'd say, we have too many a-class heroes at 8-B for that statement to put individual cells any lower.

An "at least 9-A" cell would get stomped by 11 of the 19 a-class heroes we have profiles for. Because Lightning Max and Snakebite Snek (who aren't even exceptionally strong a-class) are "likely 8-B". Stinger, Magic Trick Man, Heavy Tank Fundoshi, Death Gatling and Great Philosopher are all "at least 8-B". Blue Fire also fits in the "at least 8-B" category, though he doesn't have a profile. Another 4 a-class heroes are 8-A or higher: Amai Mask, Iaian, Okamaitachi and Bushidrill.

And Homeless has researched on the hero association website in addition to whatever Gyoro Gyoro told him, so he should know roughly how strong a-class heroes are.

What I meant was, why does “easily” translate to a single Black Sperm cell equalIng or be around the same tier as an A Class, if the comment insinuated there wouldn’t be much of a fight between an A Class and a Black Sperm cell?

Ah, I misunderstood you.

No, it doesn't equate to that, it just justifies an "at least 8-B, likely higher" which means we can scale BS cells higher if we get better concrete scaling information.

Scaling Black Sperm's AP to Genos, 7-A, possibly 7-A+ is probably best then, since Black Sperm stated that at least some of the clones doing damage were individual cell.

Yeah, that would be what I’m confused on, since a Black Sperm cell seems to already have a concrete feat against Genos.

Well people want to scale him lower so they could do a X54 trillion multiplier from the 9-A calc- because it's unlikely multiplying 500 megatons (or where BS would scale) by 54 trillion would be accepted without significant additional context.

I'll vote for scaling BS cells to 7-A and holding off on the multiplier until Platinum Sperm at least does something.
