not exactly, Gas upscaling the baseline but to an unknown degree (2x maybe)

He also has flight which gives him more control, plus his weapons are better in the sense that he has more control over it.

Most Gas's weapons are blades and maces, Something Diamondhead can make (Infact Diamondhead can make whatever weapon/tool he desires) This already gives him far superior versatility.
And crystal are likely more durable due him being one of the most durable Ben's alien as well as it's confirmed that Diamondhead's constructs are stronger than steel, He has complete control on his physiology and transform his arm/body into any weapon he desires so he has more control.

Diamondhead has actual combat techniques and moves that could blindside Gas and deliver the finishing blow.

I find it hard to believe that Diamondhead who is one of the most clever alien would be overwhelmed, Flight users is something Ben has dealt with before. I'll just post my Argument.

Attack Potency:

• Gas: 29.6 Exatons
• Diamondhead: 52.8 Exatons

DH has 1.78x AP advantage

Starting move:

Diamondhead leads with throwing crystal projectiles which he can shoot from kilometers away.


After which he uses his fighting style which is to keep as much distance as possible from the enemy by making entire paths of crystals to ride of them and surfing away into the sky and shooting Crystal projectiles from the air, As he can shoot them from any part of his bodies and making crystal shields, weapons, tools of his desire to redirect and deflect any incoming attacks on him. He is a ranged acrobatic attacker who will go straight into the sky and shoot attacks at Gas from dozens of Kilometers away while constantly surfing in air & riding on his crystal paths mainting his distance which is his attacking style.





Killing moves:

• (Higher LS) & Can Pierce / Slice through via any crystal weapon or using his Class G lifting strength can use many Moves/ Techniques mentioned on his profile such as
• Diamondhead can restrict his enemies by Crystallizing them using his Crystal imprisonment all he need to do is point at the direction as you can see here.

• Diamondhead has several techniques and can use them in very creative ways such as the following:

1. He can create a gigantic magnifier to blindside Gas and in that very momentary distraction proceed to use Energy-Drill his special move to pierce through.
2. He can absorb energy attacks of Gas using his Energy Sword then make them stronger (Amplify them) and shoot em back for Higher damage and simply redirect or deflect any energy attacks towards him.
3. Diamondhead has so much control and in his Omni Enhanced form he can redirect his crystals using his Fulmini energy to target and have them explode at his enemies from the distance.

Experience and Intelligence:

• Defeated the (Super Genius) Warlord of the Galaxy Vilgax who has been a warlord conquering multiple planets and has 3000 years of expierence as you can see failed to break of his crystals.
• Diamondhead defeated 10,000 year old magican Hex while entire battle took place in the sky as you can see he is agile and acrobatic. Diamondhead has arial combat experince on his side.
• Also Diamondhead kept up with Agent Six who is an agent of Providence Organization and given the title of "Sixth deadliest man on Earth" in his base form and a sword expert.

For reference on how good Vilgax is:

Vilgax himself designed the Omntrix device that transform you into millions of aliens, Conqueror of 10 planets, Basically top 5 people on Earth like Agent Six can't defeat Ben along with the villain High Override the destroyer and conqueror of planets who leads his army to conquer planets, lead to destruction of his own species planet everyone on Fulmas planet are soldiers with natural warrior instinct as they are constantly battling with other planets & conquering them, yet was defeated by Ben and Diamondheadhas all the resistances mentioned on Reboot Ben's profile

Gas scales much higher than that, plus he has a transformation that allows him to increase his power.

Skill stuff

I don't know why we compare general intelligence to Skill, Vilgax doesn't use calculations like Brainstorm for battle, plus Vilgax probably learned/copied the Omnitrix blueprints in this continuity.

Gas is a fighter capable of surpassing Bardock, a Saiyan who has fought and conquered multiple planets just like Vilgax, as well as being the trusted warrior of the Heeter family, a multi-galactic criminal gang, training to surpass Frieza from a very early age, (they are still 5-C) Gas surpassed Granolah, one of the best assassins in the galaxy.

the armament both are almost equal (with some advantage for ben), although DH can incapacitate Gas, that depends on whether he is on the ground, because if he is in the air, he can dodge it

DH can amplify his own attacks as said above. Crystal Imprisonment works via pointing and being in the close range of at least 5 meters and DH has used it multiple times plus he can easily keep up with flight enemies since he has endless supply of crystal as his disposal.
Him coming to close range would be the end as I mentioned several ways DH can utilize his techniques to deliver the finish.

I already addressed that(not the amp), so that it covers the entire body it has to be on the ground, if Gas is good then Diamante will have to Touch it directly to crystallize Gas, which he does not do much in combat (when he is in the sky)



Also Diamondhead amp requires him to focus first, like a charge attack.

There is no wasting of the time when it comes to to shoot back the amp attack as SR and DH didn't took time to focus. Gas dodging the attack won't change the fact that DH does not need to touch all he needs is close range as seen here (1)
