When I was looking for someone to fight The Thinker People suggested this guy. So this should be an interesting fight.

Scenario
Random encounter

DeVoe with every bus meta absorbed and Didact in his low 7-B key

Speed equalized

Victory by any means necessary

Score

Qe
The Thinker:

Halo Ur-Didact (Render)
The Didact:

Questionmark
Inconclusive:1

Let the debate begin....or an FRA spam, dear god not an FRA spam.

TFW I had an entire post and it ended up getting eaten.

Anyway, SBA sets the two at 4KM, Thinker has a huge versatility advantage especially from that distance but that also means Didact will waste no time shooting a composer at him

IIRC Versusjunkie knows the verse rather well, so I'll wait on his judgement, (Assuming his matchups with the verse means he's familer with them)

I see everyone was too lazy to fix DeVoe's profile and expected me to do it >.>

DeVoe has an absolute ball with his luck manipulation alone

I'm not sure how one rates luck manipulation powers, but he does have a statement about it working on a quantum level...

In the casino scene, what was the probability of rolling the numbers Becky did for as long as she did?

I'm gonna try and explain his abilities, wait just a bit.

Intellect: Thinker brain processes information at a rate that matches even Flash's ability to think at superspeed. He can analyze more than thousands of different outcomes that can possibly arise from an event and practically predict the future down to the tiniest details. Which is how he made the bus metas, manipulating events to the point where 12 people found themselves in the exact place, at the exact minute where a portal would open to give them the exact set of powers the thinker wanted for them.

There are many statements about his intellect made in the show though a lot of them are likely hyperbole

Telepathy and Status effects: Thinker can read minds and give brain aneurysms to others, his telepathy isn't particularly strong as it can be avoided by just suppressing your thoughts.

His status effects are shown to affect people from a long distance away as he did with Cisco when the latter tried to track his location from STAR Labs

Tech Manip: Pretty standard technological manipulation with one notable aspect, he can transfer his consciousness to his chair and live on after his host gets rid of him, DeVoe calls it "technological ressurection"

Size Manipulation: Can shrink down objects to later use as weapons, he also used it to crush someone to death (it also reduces the target's physical ability as it turned a low 7-B into a 10-C)

He can also use this ability by simply waving his hand.

Luck Manipulation: It made events play out in the most convenient manner for the original user to do whatever she desired. like allowing her to rob banks without being caught on camera, putting people in jeopardy so that Flash doesn't chase after her, making him incap himself twice when he attempted to capture her, making the other bus metas incap each other when they tried to fight her and almost destroyed the city in her debut episode.

Power Absorption: Physical contact with the thinker instantly strips you of your powers, even a short action like a punch or a shove will activate the power transfer, the process involves some amount of DNA manipulation.

Density Manipulation: Thinker usually uses this to make his opponent so heavy that they are rendered immobile, it can also be used to make objects float and simulate telekinesis.

HDM: Thinker can create passages into and out of pocket dimensions (which exist within 4-dimensional folds in time space). He uses this ability to redirect attacks back at his opponents and once used it to BFR Flash to the north/south pole.

That's all the essays I'm willing to write at moment, hope that helps with this matchup.

DeVoe doesn't really have any good durability negating hax, so AP is still a factor here.

I'll wait on Void to clear up if he can.

If he says he can beat 7B Didact go ahead, if not, don't.

You literally just posted like 3 hax where durability isn't a factor. There's also being able to hear Didact's thoughts which lets him know every move before he does it.

But does DeVoe stomp low 7-B Didact? If not, I would prefer both being low 7-B.

What is Devoe's counter to the Composer, Homing BFR, and being devolved btw? I think this is one of the few matches where he could be bloodlusted and not be a stomp.

And what is the attack like? Is it something that DeVoe can redirect with portals?

No, it comes down from space in a matter of seconds with no warning, and has a 200+ kilometer AOE.

If in character, he'd only use it once he realized The Thinker is not some fodder like Master Chief for instance.

Bloodlusted? He'd likely fire it right away

Telepathy works on people in his range of view, status effects work from very long distances away (However I can't specify exactly how long of a distance)

Luck is passive but has limited range

HDM portals open and close within picoseconds and can open pretty much anywhere (seeing as he once opened one to the north/south pole)

Pretty much all of his hax activate with a thought.

In Character.:I'd go with inconclusive. Depending on the circumstances, either one of them can get the upper hand and win.

Bloodlusted: Didact wins handily.

DeVoe can actually transfer his consciousness into machines, if that can help him here.

@Versus Can you link me to a video of how the composer works?
