The Revenant Marvel Comics Discussion Thread

Btw I have asked for the Dweller in Darkness's profile to be deleted.

While there are many outdated Marvel profiles, Dweller in Darkness is one of the most outdated and also has a few extra problems:

1. According to the Marvel wiki, he only has 19 appearances. Compare this to Nightmare, who has 170 (plus, Nightmare is a way more iconic villain and was even the first villain in a Doctor Strange comic [Strange Tales (1951) #110]).

2. His AP justification says this:

(Destroyed the M'Kraan Crystal and ended a universe as result, as well as being heavily implied to be superior to an alternate reality Phoenix Force)

Asides from there being no scans, the Marvel wiki says this:

They even have that Dweller under a different version outside of Earth 616.

Thus, his profile should be axed.

Yes, Nightmare's profile is admittedly almost as bad, but I'm actually working on revising Nightmare's profile, courtesy of my magic revisions and my "Extra Stuff" sandbox, the latter of which will give him stuff like HDE, Abstract Existence Type 1 (seriously, he has 4 justifications for it that I found), Astral Form Physiology, Acausality 4, etc.

I do not mind if we delete that page, but all of the links to it from our other regular wiki pages also need to be removed in conjunction.

is any character using Dweller in Darkness for scaling?

Btw, I am nearing completion of my marvel magic sandbox, only about 150 issues in 2 series left (plus some minor stuff mostly concerning Scarlet Witch's chaos magic and the Life Force), then I'll reorganize it into tabbers and clean up the formatting and whatnot.

Before I release that though, I will release a CRT based on this sandbox which focuses on character-specific stuff:

It's also not done yet, but feel free to check it out.

(And just ignore the Enchantimatics stuff if you want, I'm still debating if and how it can be included in the Marvel Magic sandbox)
I think "at their peak" in the Dark Dimension should be "as a race/group/army." I don't think they need a possibly rating either, since the Mindless Ones being a destructive threat to Dormammu/Umar/Clea and the dark dimension as a whole is super consistent.

Any thoughts of this blog? Does anyone agree on the first sentence?

(A few abilities are already on their profiles)

Nice

make sense

I just saw some of the new X-men animated series and it's crazy how X-men writers CANNOT write a normal and good romance, no matter the media, be comics or shows. No wonder people make fun of Scott and Wolverine, lmao.

Hey... if I wanted to make a God of Stories Loki profile/key, does anyone know where I could start? My usual method of making character profiles is going to their major, minor, and handbook appearances listed on the Marvel wiki then reading through all the issues, but I just found out that Loki has three different Marvel wiki profiles for Earh-616. Which profile contains all the content regarding his God of Stories incarnation?

Pretty sure is this one.

Would this help upgrade Herald Characters?
A enslaved Galactus of a possible future states that Kala's New Power will destroy the cosmos, and all things of the past, present and future. (Realm of Kings- Son of Hulk #2)

This was later found to be the alternative future where Kala's "Hulk" form was activated- which hadn't occurred before due to it requiring not rage, but love, in order to work. Kala was later forced to kill the only person he loved in order to stop this future from happening and eliminating the universe.
(Realm of Kings- Son of Hulk #2)

Hiro-Kala can creates a field of Old Power powerful enough to cover the distance between two universes, blocking the Enigma Force from being used. (Incredible Hulks- Enigma Force #1)

It is explained that Hiro-Kala will eventually use Galactus as a living weapon to destroy the universe in a alternative timeline. (Realm of Kings- Son of Hulk #4)

It was explained that the Old Power is essentially the counterbalance to the Power Cosmic, and it can effect the universe. (Son of Hulk #15)

Thor spins Mjolnir and matches Bill spinning Stormbreaker on Earth, creating a vortex to overpower the cosmic storms surrounding Asgard, sending its army back home (Mighty Thor #359)

Thor spins Mjolnir to conquer the cosmic storms between Asgard and Midgard under his own power (Mighty Thor #373)

And when you double the striking power of Mjolnir? You get a shockwave of enchanted energy that reverberates throughout "the length and breadth of the entire cosmos" and "simultaneously across all planes of reality!" (Thor #439)
