The Revenant Marvel Comics Discussion Thread

Question is there a in-universe reason why marvel villains keep breaking out of prison etc?

(out of universe reason because marvel would lose business if the villains never break out/the story would end)

Does it have to do with corruption/poorly managed staff (is that why the criminals break out always)?

I think that they used to keep freeing each other, but nowadays none of the writers even bother to show them doing so.

Frankly, I don't think what's going on is consistent enough.
I find it strange that matter-antimatter events affect a beyonder, after all, we agree that this race is beings that are far beyond matter limitation.
Where they effected by anti matter or something?

Can celestials be on the same tier as beyonders? I know it dosen't make much sense but they did create their race and the first firmament (which is retconned?)
Anyways, pre retconned beyonder did fight celestials in the older comics which i think should indicate beyonder isn't infinitely more powerful that tham. In the ultimates we even seen beyonders fighting celestials, yeah, beyonders did kill them pretty quickly but again, they should still physically be on the same level.

no, celestias designed the beyonders race to be much stronger than themselves, they are the products of high technology that celestia possess, they are omega forms, of course, the technology that celestia has makes it possible to do much more than what they have, still, it is more appropriate to divide celestia into m body and true form otherwise These entities, which can be limited to 2-a, also played a major role in low1-a and 1-a concept formation.

They still created they via their own power tho. And shattered first firmament as well

Of course, if they were not powerful beings, if there was such a gap difference, it would be impossible for such events to occur for them, but as I said, their technology includes much more than they have.
Also, as I said, there must be a distinction between m body and tru form, otherwise there are many successes that will fit them into the 2-a pattern.

Beyonders are really just jobbers 🤦‍♂️
Anyone can beat anyone in comics.
But marvel are joking to do that.

Pre retcon beyonder is kinda inconsistent.

One quick question: why does oblivion have type 3 transduality again? The reason for why is this: "Via being the primordial void" why is this enough again?

I was gonna wait until I revised her page to do this, but that’s on hold while I’m working on Wonder Woman, so I’ll just say it here.

I think X-23’s page should be renamed to Wolverine (Laura Kinney). Laura actively rejects and hates the moniker of X-23, as that name was used to dehumanize her while she was an experiment of the Facility, and she has been Wolverine since 2016, only briefly dropping the name from 2018-2019 as a symbolic warning to the people she was hunting.

X-23 can be left as a redirect, but the page itself should be renamed Wolverine (Laura Kinney).

Question is adam warlock the only user who has shown the ability to use all of the infinity gauntlets powers or is there no marvel character who has been shown to use every single power the gauntlet has displayed?

Some justifications are wrong and iffy.
Oblivions TD3 justification is built on him being the literal concept of Nonexistence inside Marvel Comics, thus defining the nonexistence realms like the Ginnungagap. Which is believed by the Xians to be “The Wuji"
A concept from Chinese Philosophy that is accepted as TD3

What do we currently need to do here, or are we just chatting in general?

I got a bunch of comics for christmas
They're all part of the "dark side of marvel" collection, or at least that's how i'd translate the title
It's 10 books and they all include a few stories revolving around one character, as far as i can tell they're just compilations of several comics
I'm reading the Venom one rn, so far i've read Venom: On Trial and License to Kill
