I'm talking about the last. For example: character A became 8-A, because he able to harm character B with 8-A telekinesis (even if char B never showed his durability and has no evidences to have durability equal to his telekinesis power.).

Or domestic cat harm 9-C human, and it makes 9-C domestic cat.

that's a good point, a car is 9-B, but if a 10-B human in real life punches it and makes a big dent, the human is 9-B, this site has some scaling issues.
