Gonna keep it simple, Post-Crisis Lobo's AP should be revised to being 2C at peak.

Reasons

• Other Post-Crisis characters have been upgraded to 2C, and Lobo scales to them at his peak.
• 4B rating was made at a time when all Post-Crisis DC characters were 4B, ratings have since changed for other characters and so should Lobo's
• Lobo has feats that would put him higher anyways, such as his rampage through the hell and heavens where he slaughtered a bunch of deities and got himself kicked out of the afterlife (Note: Sorry if this feat was from another time period such as Pre-crisis or the like, im not entirely sure which period this occured in.)

But the afterlife feat wouldn't count!
He would still scale to Superman and other similar characters

Lobo doesn't scale to 2C Superman!
Why wouldn't he? He's fought him multiple times, and was a threat to other DC characters aside from Superman, most of which were comparable to him.

Lobo's power is inconcistent!
So is literally every other character in DC continuity. It's a result of comic writers writing comics for fun instead of powerscaling. Superman's power can vary in comics, so can Lobo's, so him being 2C would not be an outlier.

Not really, I could link the comic where Lobo rampages through heaven, but I didn't think it was necassary.

In any case, I feel that the scans aren't necassary cause Lobo already scales to Superman (presumably there was a previous thread in which this was accepted, if not I could probably it myself). This thread is more or less just a reminder that a lot of Post-Crisis characters have been upgraded since everyone was previously stuck in 4B purgatory 5-6 years ago, and Lobo's profile should be updated to reflect that.

I think Superman scales above (possibly far above) Lobo, but Lobo doesn't downscale to Superman. Sure, in their first battle (Adventures of Superman #464, 1990) Lobo had an advantage over pre-Death of S Superman, but the implication is Superman was doing so badly because of The Eradicator slowly mind-controlling him into being a "true" and "logical" Kryptonian, which is later confirmed in the letters page,

In Adventures of Superman Annual #2 from August of the same year, Superman fights Lobo and has the advantage, fights Lar Gand (a Daxamite) and then gets jumped by Lobo and Lar Gand and incaps them both by slamming their heads together. To me, this means Pre-Death Superman is > or = Lobo when his mind isn't being compromised by the Eradicator.

Then in Adventure of Superman Annual #4, a crossover with The Eclipso Darkness Within event, Superman possessed by Eclipso beats Lobo nearly to death, then one-shots him again later This is 1992, still pre-DOS. Lobo's knocked out on Page 16 for the first beating and doesn't wake up until page 22, then the volcano explodes and they don't start fighting again until page 27/28, then another cutaway until page 34 when he's one-shot and nearly killed.

Then, post Death of S Superman in Man of Steel #30, Superman has the advantage on Lobo most of the fight, eventually BFRing him into space. He also downed him with a single punch and had him spitting up teeth while still holding back and trying to talk

In DC First: Superman/Lobo (A retconned in "First Meeting" and explictly pre-DOS in the timeline) Superman had the advantage over Lobo the entire fight.

I'd say this proves Superman is above Lobo in scaling.

Fair Enough. I just want Lobo to get a revision on his tier since most of the other post-crisis characters got upgraded from 4B to higher. The fact that Lobo can take hits from Superman (who is currently updated to be higher than 4B), as well as fighting other characters who are also 2C now (Martian Manhunter, Captain Marvel, etc), it seems lazy that he's still stuck at 4B.
