I really don't like referring to people who simply challenge simple ratings as a problem, when it's not. Matt is only trying to help the wiki and is in no way becoming a large problem. We should strive to be accurate and up-to-date. We should never call people who are raising legitimate questions, acknowledging that they may be rude and correcting their behavior, and helping the wiki in a variety of ways - Matt is one of our most productive and active staff members - problems just because they are challenging our opinions on tiering, regardless of whether or not they are correct.

Even at his worst Matt has never been as much of a problem as Tivanenk.

I think we should all take a break and calm down. Stress and other emotions will only make this discussion more unpleasant and increasingly less logical.

@Matthew Again, your quote does not contradict the fundamental definition of transfinite as increasing levels of relative, but far from absolute infinity. And a beyond countably infinite number of universes is still not anywhere close to 1-B. We usually rate it as High 2-A or Low 1-C within this wiki.

I'm deeply offended that you would compare me to someone who is trollish and aggressive, and calls a user "c*ck f*agg", simply because I disagree with your standards and opinions on Marvel Comics.

I believe you told me that you are democratic and not a tyrant, so why must you threaten me by comparing me to a banned member and saying I'm worst than him?

This type of behavior won't put anyone on your side, and will only push people away from VBW. On the long run, overly infliexible, authoritative and aggressive staff kill the community rather than "Save it".

That was not a threat. I am just stating that he genuinely has been far more time-consuming and consistently insulting towards myself in recent months than Tivanenk. And he is not considering how our tiering system fundamentally works in this case. We would have to completely ignore the structure that DarkLK built for it just to place Marvel characters on a scale that we might prefer that they have, but have not been explicitly proven to possess.

Still, I do not know the entire situation with Tivanenk, just that he was usually polite towards myself, so I may have exaggerated. My apologies.

It really sounded like a threat, comparing me with a now-banned user and saying I'm worst. I could only view it as a threat, specially when my only "infraction" is disagreeing and arguing with you.

I'm again not ignoring DarkLK because I'm biased and would like High 1-B Marvel.

I'm arguing for High 1-B Marvel because of textual evidence that is more valid than a single narration-box claiming 16-D.

And if you are tired now, can we take a break and both go do something else? Ignore this thread for a while. Because I don't want to be threatened more directly for saying that I believe you're wrong.

Edit: I'm sorry too. Let's just ignore this for a while. Okay? I don't want this to turn out bad.

And I have never claimed that this wiki is run in a democratic manner. The people who are part of the staff and help out get a vote, as long as they are not a serious liability, whereas the visitors get to come with suggestions.

I mean democracy as in democratical among the Staff.

A hierarchy is needed too, not everyone can make sound judgement.

Well, it was not a threat. I am just stating that you are turning into a consistent energy-drain for me, that you have consistently disrespectfully insulted me for no good reason, despite that I have spent several thousand hours taking care of this wiki as best as I can, and that you are not listening to reason regarding how the tiering system fundamentally works.

If you can convince DarkLK that the scans in question prove an infinite-dimensional Marvel multiverse, I am definitely willing to reevaluate, but as it stands, we need explicit statements of infinite dimensions, similarly to the Pre-Retcon Beyonder.

Regardless, I am mentally exhausted, and will have to work for several hours more today, for no payment whatsoever.

Well, again, I am willing to reevaluate, but only if DarkLK clears your suggestions. I am extremely unwilling to insert completely exaggerated and unreliable rankings for any franchise, as it would open very bad doors towards public demands for more overly generous interpretations. It is not that I have something in particular against Marvel.

Also, much like "Avengers and the Infinity Gauntlet", "Spider-Man and the Secret Wars" is not a part of official continuity as far as I am aware.

Edit: If anybody is interested, here is confirmation about that Al Ewing uses the words multiverse and omniverse as synonyms:
