The Legend of Zelda: A General Awakening

Link only has the hots for the Master Sword
Well technically the MS is Fi and she as been with him from the beginning of all his adventures until the end to some extent she's probably the real loyal here and I kind of like Link and Fi together.

Or Link Agitha in TP she's so adorable alos in HW he should have ended up with Cia or Lana and honestly Zelda pairings can get really dull.

Wasn't there also the fairy queen in wind walker that straight up said that link was her Type?

Medli is sweet.

Quick Question where does the Phantom hour glass fall in the timeline, I know it should be Logically after wind waker right?, I have yet to play these spin-offs and Im judging entirely based on the art style lol

Yeah.

Don't judge based on the art style. The Toon Link games happen all over. Minish Cap and Four Swords happen before OoT, while FSA happens in the child timeline well after TP, and Tri-Force Heroes is a sequel to ALBW.

Also, even though none of us were around for the 80s to early 90s, I always liked the assumed dynamic all the side material had for Link and Zelda when there was just one of them (their NES iterations). The two of them were friends, and Link was immature, but he was a knight and a hero nonetheless.

Happy to help!

@Triforce he said back to back, as in each Link got 2 games in a row before a new Link was introduced. Wind Waker didn't get Phantom Hourglass until after several new Links were already introduced.

Yeah, I feel that Link and Cloud would be a very cool crossover.
They just play off each other immaculately.
A crossover with both adventuring and working together for one reason or another, not just fighting each other. I've been toying with the idea for a while, but haven't done much due to time issues =P

That OMM was awesome (the sprites of Card Sagas Wars helped a lot) though, yeah, not going with a clash of Triforce Slash vs Omnislash was a bit of a letdown.

@Ashen: Common interpretation is that Link got that bounty due to constant trespassing and causing constant property damage while looking for hearts and rupees.

Speaking about theories, I have a little theory of my own on how the Triforce pieces work.

I always liked to believe that the most unique piece of the Triforce is, in fact, the Triforce of Courage.

And by "unique", I mean that it works differently than the other two pieces, as where the Triforce of Power and Wisdom are proactive, the Triforce of Courage is reactive.

What that means specifically is that the Triforce of Power and Wisdom are straight from the get-go stat boosts to mana, physical strength, intelligence, etc.

The Triforce of Courage, however, isn't just an instant boost - it's reflexive. If Link faces a challenging opponent, his courage will be tested and rewarded with the adequate strength to defeat his opponent. The same goes for intelligence. He's only as strong and as smart as the world forces him to be,

So from what I always liked to believe, the Triforce of Courage has the potential to reach the greatest heights of power and wisdom - it just needs the right push for the user to get there.

Does anyone want a MinishCap remake ? in the same vain as the new game or do you think they should just make 2-D zelda games instead

I think Capcom created Minishcap so im not sure if a remake would work

Remakes/Ports I want for Zelda:

OG Zelda either get a graphical remake like LA/port over the BS 16 bit version so I don't have to play on an emulator.

Adventure of Link port

Oracles Games in the same style as LA, possibly even finally make that 3rd canceled oracles game with it.

Skyward Sword remake

Port WW & TP over to the switch so I only have 1% reason left to use the Wii U (that 1% is Pikmin 3).

Original Zelda surprisingly never got a true remake. Technically BOTW is supposed to be a "return to the origins", but still. It's probably the only 2D Zelda game I want a remake of, even though I already played the original.

A Link Between Worlds is already a sequel though ovo

In Japan, ALTTP is called "Triforce of the gods", and ALBW "Triforce of the gods 2".

I'd personally like another multiplayer spin off in the vein of Four Swords or Tri Force Heroes, me and my friends had a blast with those before and a new game like that on the switch would be perfect.

Unironically I would like a remake of Zelda I and Adventure of Link.
Though, AoL would have to have major changes to gameplay, methinks
Yeah, it AoL would probably be adapted to the overhead style. But quite honestly after all these years and Nintendo trying and polishing their work so much I do wonder how would they handle a side-scrolling Zelda, kinda like a Metroidvania style Zelda? Dunno, but would be fun to see,

Also this scene alone makes me appreciate Skyward Sword a million times more than every older Zelda games https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=acDvui4bzSk&list=LLTUOv3-efx1zefeLj7AUGQw&index=2&t=0s

This whole scene feels epic and wholesome and several Gods/Deities acknowledge link and gives him the respect he deserves. He gets credit for what he as done also the song of the hero is just beautiful with Link floating/flying in the hair looking so happy with Fi floating around him and doing ballet is just wholesome.

Link right here is happy to be a hero.

Man I love skyward Sword so much I want a remake.

Plus over 33+ years of the series the Loz theme was actually Link's theme all along how awesome is that?!?
