I don't think Bercouli really goes for Release Recollection unless in super dire moments or when things seem super hard. But yes it's certainly a factor and big win con

I mean, Weiss does have a lot of versatility and the AP advantage so him getting pressed is most likely gonna happen whereupon he whips out RR and one shots. If he somehow isn’t pressed by her, he is kind of just … chilling at that point.

It really just comes down to whether or not Weiss can kill him fast enough so that RR doesn’t get used.

I think a big issue for Weiss is Bercouli's survivability. Bro managed to fight Vecta/Gabriel while his Incarnation was being sapped, was missing an arm, and had a giant ******* hole in his stomach.

There's also the matter of skill which Bercouli has lived for 100+ years and has faced hundreds of opponents, especially from the dark territory over his time. He may not be super haxed but that combined with Incarnation's passive buffs is gonna be crazy good.

Curious how that works, does he pick a specific time in the past? Because Weiss would still have her aura up in the past.

The way the sword works is it can slash the future, essentially storing hits or well the slash/force behind the hit with Enhance Armament.

Release Recollection allows him to slice someone's past on activation but he needs to remember where they were essentially, there's also the mention of an ability to be able to send someone back to a past position but I don't remember that (although I don't doubt it's validity)

But the issue with Release Recollection is that it's a Dura Neg that in it's source material bypassed the system mechanics and just sets whatever it hits to 0 life points instantly killing them.

I feel it's a lot more indepth than that, Weiss is strong but I still think she would lose most of the time. Bercouli has his own thing like aura in the sense that he can make Incarnation Forcefields, Has telekensis and also the future slashes would be very tricky to deal with.

Yeah, sense this is vol 3 Weiss

Like yeah she trained all her life to be the best and training with her older sister who is a specialist in the military who is more skilled then the ace opts, but Weiss despite her training with winter didn't reach near that level until vol 7

Although that isn't to say Weiss isn't skilled here, her abilities will definitely help her out here in this battle and Weiss is already used to fighting people with forcefields (aura users) and can make her own forcefield with dust

Yeah i don't doubt weiss has the versatility with abilities and fighting style but Bercouli just has slightly more potent stuff that should allow him to have a better edge.
