For this fight, Iron Giant is 40 meters tall and weighs 30,000 tons, while Mechagodzilla is his regular size of 50 meters and weighs 40,000 tons.

Speed is equalized.

Iron Giant can win this. Mechagodzilla is simply incapable of inflicting the damage needed to permanently keep the Iron Giant down. We're talking about the mech that was struck by a nuke without his individual parts being destroyed. While most of Iron Giant's weapons are inferior to Mechagodzilla's, he does have that claw-gun that erased a tank from existence, while his chest cannon looks like it could seriously damage, if not outright oneshot, Mechagodzilla. Unless Mechagodzilla manages to permanently bring down Iron Giant before he can bust out his stronger weapons, Iron Giant's gonna win this.

The giant's regen isnt combat applicable and if his parts are actually damaged beyond him just falling apart he likely cannot regenerate at all
