The Infinity Blade - Immortality Negation

The Infinity Weapons from Infinity Blade were created to kill the Deathless who are Immortal by affecting their Quantum Identity pattern (their soul) so the Blade should have Immortality Negation but there are 2 ways it could be applied:
  • Giving the Infinity Weapons Immortality Negation to all the types of Immortality that the Deathless have (Type 1, 3, 4 and 6)
or
  • Giving the Infinity Weapons Immortality Negation to only Immortality Types 4 and 6
I think that the 2nd proposal make more sense as the weapons work by destabilising their QIP (which is modified to transfer to a new body upon their death or heal their recently killed body granting Type 4 and 6 Immortality) when they are killed by it. The Deathless' Type 3 Immortality is negated as a by-product of negating their Type 4 and 6 Immortality and killing them at the same time, it wouldn't be applicable to characters who just have Type 3 Immortality as the Blade doesn't negate Regeneration but rather Resurrection.

Oh nice... Wait it wasn't there?! Killing immortal beings is the whole purpose of the titular weapon!

Anyway, I agree with the first one. They are meant to kill deathless

Seems simple enough, I agree with the second proposal since it's negating that specific aspect of their Immortality.

The Infinity Weapons don't negate regeneration, it is specifically stated that they scramble the victim's QIP to grant them a true death which is a form of Soul Manipulation. Destabilising their soul negates Immortality via Resurrection as it leaves the Deathless' QIP unable to resurrect the Deathless which also prevents their consciousness from transferring to a new body (negating Parasitic Immortality)

(Stabbing someone to death also doesn't count as negating type 1 immortality)
