The God of High School Discussion Thread 4: Post-Anime Apocalypse

His original power only lasted as long as the Holy Grail was being powered up, it wasn't really returned to him, so much as it was reactivated for a short period

Honestly I don't like that, I wish he regained it permanently, I mean he had already long surpassed his Ragnarok Power without his Original Power, but adding it on top brought him to an entirely different level, but I really wish he kept it for more than a chapter

I can only imagine Mori will get even stronger than that tho since...
Mubong isn't defeated yet and there's still more fighting to come

Obviously Mori is gonna get more powerful... Still, this unnecessary nerf and extension of the story does annoy me. Well, more GoH for me, regardless lol.

From what spoilers suggest...
People on Earth are looking for new ways to restore his true power, so the latest chapter was just the first glance of his Original Power Restored, I'm sure one day he will fully regain everything and end up defeating Mubong. I don't hate that it's being extended, it just felt like the setup from the previous chapters meant this was truly the final battle, this break of time between the fights does interest me though

Yeah, I got that the people wanted Mori to defeat Mubong from the latest chapter as well.

Idk, it just seems like after Park set up all this to be the final battle, then he just extends it outta nowhere, it seems sorta stupid, no? I'm not saying I don't wanna read more GoH, but, it does seem a little disingenuous.

To be fair, I'm glad, there was one big loose end that was never resolved, being Satan

So I'm glad it didn't just end with that latest fight, but I felt like everything that's coming up in the future could have just happened in this fight

But whatever, I'm with it till the end

Well, yeah, I can say that Mori's nerf into Mori Dan was a very interesting character arc for Mori and I liked the concept of Mori having to master his old skills instead of relying on his monstrous strength.

I was referring to the most recent nerf post-Mubong fight lol.

Oh yeah that, generally interested in what might be done with this once since it feels like this downgrade might've been mutual with both of them deeply scarring and wounding the other before separating.

🤣

People saying Mori is nerfed, but forget its GoH and he only loses 1 percent of his power.|

Later on Mori fights the black thing that Mubong summoned and easily defeats them in his weakened state.

Mubong also weakened slightly but can still provide enough power to a laser than can destroy the earth, which Mira and Daewi (Also weakened) block/divert.

Daewi still had orange hair mode, mira still has byron tam.

Daewi uses deer's book to make thousands of Noah arcs around the planet and are transferring the survivors to Mubong's planet, which NOA is trying to break down the barrier mubong placed.

Most recent raw, Mori(Dan form) can keep up with Mubong suppressed but not damage him, but was able to dislocate his shoulder by catching him off guard.

You know, when Mori, Daewi, and Mira pulled up to Mubong and they said they would end this long journey mixed alongside the author saying this would be GOH’s final fight, I really thought this was the final battle and it should have been, but now we’re getting an entire other arc and Round 2 continuation to the fight and I just feel like the story’s being dragged

If the story had just focused and ended on the initial final battle, I would have had no complaints, but Arc 5 has been so goddamn long and I just want the series to end now

I just hope this Final Arc is worth the continuation

I just hope this Final Arc is worth the continuation
The only way the extension could really be worth it for me is if Mori and Mubong end up at the higher level of Cosmic Tier or even Universal ... Otherwise, it's really all downhill since Ragnarok - which actually had the most extreme feats in the series thus far (except for some brief moments during Mujin vs Satan)

I'm fine being that long as long as it gives some uni feats and as long as the story is good and not just being forced to get longer

I mean like Ikki Kurogane Style i've searched some mori matches that happend few years ago and i've remembered ikki which is a skilled mf and tbh the arguments in the thread is kinda shit in ikki's favor and also i don't want to see mori lose in a skill battle

I mean Mori has plenty of skill copying feats earlier in the series lol.
I just find ikki's copying skill is kinda better since he copied some of sword styles by feeling them in pary in mid fight(dunno what's the right term or word to describe it) and then mastering the by just doing that and yada yada

Well ikki copied the sword style not technique the style itself and mastered it well just by feeling it once or smth still don't know the right term or word to describe it.

Pretty sure you'll see at least one new skill feat in his rematch against Mujin.
