The sight of the Basanos depends on Destiny's Book, so you could say that Destiny is their "power source", this was shown when they invaded Lucifer's Creation where they were losing their ability to see into the future because Destiny's Book is native to the original Creation which is why they were tricked by Lucifer.

Though the Basanos precognition and probability manipulation were insane.Their entire existence is already planned by them as they view all moment as one moment and they are the lenses through which all infinite possiblities of Creation are focused.So they would knew if there is going to be a threat to them, they would have already prepared for it in advance like how they did against Lucifer.

One advantage the Basanos have over Destiny is that they have free will, they are a paradox, recorders and readers of Destiny but with free will while Destiny doesn as he only follows whats written on the Book.

What I meant by both are at their strongest is that I was using the tab of the Basanos that doesn't have the weakness of being limited to the DC Multiverse. Sorry if I didn't make that explicitly clear.

I'm curious though, how do you think Destiny would deal with The Basanos's infinite death manipulation? Or The Basanos's True Godly regen?

The Basanos regen/immortality likely comes from their power over probability and fate, they can see these "unlived worlds". Like if they got killed, they can look into these unlived "what-if" worlds where they didnt get killed, where they didnt come to the battle so there's no reason for them to die etc... and realize those possibilities, basically negating their death

Its possible for them to set up an event that could cause Destiny's death like what they did with Lucifer, but since Destiny is just like the Basanos who knows the fate of everything.Destiny would know of this plan by the Basanos but he will only do what's written on the Book, and I dont know whats written on the Book.
