Reinhard can't kill Ard due to his near infinite number of souls, meanwhile Ard could seal Reinhard.

Reinhard dodges attacks he sees for the first time, and then subsequent ones with greater speed, however Ard also has precog, and instinctive reaction, and he would just analyze and then either copy, null and modify Reinhard's stuff.
