You right he actually upscales from the Tesseract since Hela considered the Eternal Flame as more powerful along with one-shotting her at the end of Ragnarok

He doesn’t tho because 1 he died in an explosion that killed him and his full strike only cracked the tesseract 2 doesn’t matter what hela states why would he scale above an aspect of existence such as an infinity stone

Thanos casually breaking it seems like, incredibly strange. But technically we scale Hela, Surtur and Odin there already so it wouldn't be insane either I guess.
Though saying causal Thanos > Surtur's full effort seems like it's a pretty massive power scaling break so idk.
Call me neutral I guess.

It seems logical that when he was injured he was able to resist Captain Marvel's strength until Hulk Buster grabbed his arm.
Also, during endgame, he was able to nearly defeat Thor Post-Awakening With his strength as well

Captain Marvel's strength is accepted as varying and the Hulkbuster is scaling to people who scale to Thanos making the portion circular.
The only point is Awakened Thor, but even then Awakened Thor wasn't capable of putting down Hela and was likely weaker than her overall until his training arc in L&T.

Completely wrong the only reason he wasn’t capable of putting her down is because on Asgard she’s immortal and her power constantly keeps growing with Odin saying it’s limitless after he awakened he was fighting similar levels to where the script went as far to say he had a chance at winning and his lightning knocked her out and cooked her like bacon

I mean, you realize that's my point right? Her power is growing until it matches Odin's as implied in What If Season 2, meaning that Awakened Thor still wasn't as strong as she was and needed Surtur to actually win. So using him to scale to Thanos is also questionable, since he didn't achieve his full strength until he got over his mental hang-ups and worked out again.
