Ben has precog though and can put Teridax into an illusion from the start of the fight, possess him and destroy his body from the inside, or reverse the planet's gravity and pull him into space, or crush him with telekinesis, or transmute him into a ball, or have his mindless shadow monkeys fight for him while he steals the Staff of Darkness and combines its powers with his own

I see no resistance to illusions or anything I listed there in his orofile, only only a resistance to heat, cold, and mind manip/Telepathy

Teridax's general resistance to mind manipulation should apply to illusions as well and Makuta in general are basically stated by him later to be resistant to them. Either way, he has experience with illusions and has his own. None of those things will really affect Teridax given that he's a non-corporeal shapeshifter with planetary teleportation, and given that he can read Benjamin's mind to know what he can and will do and when, he'll just use his own massive roster of abilities to reply in turn and eventually render him comatose with his own mental powers.
